Accidentally pressed star! Please beware of this company. Kenny left my furnace with carbon monoxide leaking out into the crawl space - this was recently discovered and the technician said I was lucky to be alive. The furnace was the wrong size for the space and is having to be replaced. Kenny also stole 2500 from me by saying he was ordering a new ac unit, came to my house saying he had installed new unit and accepted another 2600 from me. I went outside and saw the same 25 year old unit. Stopped payment on 2nd check but nothing I could do about the 2500 he was supposedly using to purchase new unit. I had no ac this summer because I couldn’t afford after being ripped off by him. I trusted him and not a day goes by that I don’t regret that. Please watch out! This person put my life at risk and felt that I was too stupid to figure any of it out. Worst person I’ve run across and I’m 61! He definitely took advantage of my being single woman living alone.

I was assigned to this company by Total Protection, a warranty service provider, late last October because my dishwasher died. The tech was johnny-on-the-spot and determined that the machine could be repaired. That young man is quick and efficient.Since November, we waited for a response from Total Protection or Oconee Mechanical to work on the machine since parts had to be ordered.My last conversation with Oconee Mechanical was in early December. The parts had arrived. I was hoping for service over the holidays because my husband is home for the holidays. This was expressed to them.Since about the 17th, when my husband was available, the main number has had a full mailbox. There is no way to leave a message.Yesterday, January 3, 2019, I called Total Protection and they were going to send an email to Oconee Mechanical to check on the parts and have them schedule an appointment. Today is January 4, 2019 at 10:40AM.NOTHING!I am very disappointment with both firms. My dishwasher is still broken (although that won't kill me). I will change the rating when my dishwasher is fixed.

Before hiring Kenny with Oconee Mechnical be sure to do your research. You will see a trend in reviews around issues arising and not receiving communication to resolve. This has been our experience with Kenny. We paid thousands of dollars for a new HVAC system to be installed. At this time we have paid in full, but Kenny has not completed the job paid for - with 5 of the 9 ceiling vents not fully attached and blowing heat into the attic. He said he would fix them back on 11/19/21 but does not return my phone calls and only texts sporadically with no real resolve. He said he has a one year warranty on labor, but be aware he does not stand by his warranty.UPDATE: At this time Kenny agreed to reimburse part of our payment and to provide warranty details on his labor (stated 1 year) and the unit (3 year). He has not followed through with any of these things and has blocked my phone number and Facebook so there is no way I can contact him. Do yourself a favor and run the other way.

Back in August, we were assigned to Oconee Mechanical by our home warranty company when our AC died. The warranty company really let us down with delay after delay processing our parts, then sending the wrong parts... but Oconee Mechanical kept on them and completed to job quickly and professionally! Great people to work with and awesome service! Because of their great service, I called them to service / do preventative maintenance our heater this week. Received an appointment quickly and the service was done professionally. Will continue to use this company!

Back in August, we were assigned to Oconee Mechanical by our home warranty company when our AC died. The warranty company really let us down with delay after delay processing our parts, then sending the wrong parts... but Oconee Mechanical kept on them and completed to job quickly and professionally! Great people to work with and awesome service! Because of their great service, I called them to service / do preventative maintenance our heater this week. Received an appointment quickly and the service was done professionally. Will continue to use this company!
