★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Scheduled an oven installation with these guys and after 6 visits they finally got it installed.They unneedly took of our brand new glass front door and it fell over and shattered. They didn’t care. I had to call an after hours commercial glass and door company to secure my buisness. We have not been reimbursed since March.I am not an electrician, I hired you guys to install my oven, Jerry sent me the exact electoral work that needed to be done ($3500) worth of work they told me that I need to have done. I got the electrician to do the work, sent Jerry a picture of the completed work, he said perfect and came out to install the oven (3rd attempt) and upon arrival he said that the work wasn’t done correctly and that I and the electrician were both idiots and pretty much belittled us for doing what he told us to do in writing. So, we had to remove the first $3500 worth of electrical work and get another $3000 worth of work done,I have called 4 times to get help and no superviser will call me back.I spoke to Jerry the most and he mislead me more times than I can count with unorganized scheduling, lack of attention to detail with my electrical work, time and money. - 0 stars don’t recommend this gentleman.One one of my 4 calls to speak with a supervisor, I was able to speak with Kyle who was no real help, he just kept saying he would have to ask his boss and get back to me, just giving me the run around saying he would call me back with an update and hasn’t after 3+ weeks.The owner, he seems to care less, every time I call the ladies say that he is on vacation or out of town. I guess he is spending the money he saved by taking advantage of me.Since March I have not gotten any real help in being reimbursed for our broken door and wrongly advised electrical work- close to $4500.Please see my broken door here, they could have just turned the oven on its side, but they didn’t think of that.If you want to save yourself some headache, please do not call this company.This company is going to respond to this review and say that we posted on the wrong profile. This review IS on the correct profile they are just trying to hide from the property damage they caused.

They will send a “technician” out that will not be able to fix your issue, then they will go outside and vomit by your dumpster and then just drive off and not inform anyone inside the restaurant. Three employees from the neighboring restaurant witnessed this and informed us, and then described the “technician” perfectly. Then, when the guy comes back to attempt to fix another piece of equipment, you can ask them if they happened to vomit by your dumpster and then they will lie to your face and then have another “technician” come and try to corner you and intimidate you. Then they’ll improperly use middle school vocabulary and say that you “slandered their name” when 1) you don’t know their name and 2) discussing a major food safety violation with 4 managers is hardly slander, but okay.Then when you attempt to contact their boss and file a complaint, the boss will call you a liar, tell you that you’re hostile, and be the most abhorrent human being that you’ve even had the displeasure of talking to. He will try to spin the narrative that you’re just a “crazy woman,” which is super cool! He will tell you that he believes his “technicians” over his client and eyewitnesses as well as video evidence.My question is this: what do I have to personally gain from “making up” a story about YOUR employee vomiting on my premises? Clearly GARS is comfortable with hiring multiple employees that lack basic critical thinking skills, as well as have literally no knowledge of how to even talk to clients. Guess you shouldn’t expect to much from the cesspool of people out there nowadays.As someone that has worked in the restaurant industry for a decade, I cannot and will NEVER recommend GARS to anyone.

After a brief discussion with me, I asked for another vendor and he agreed to send one. Then he lied and told the company the problem was rodents when he did not look at it at all. We were billed $100 for the service call.

I had an emergency with a commercial walk in freezer. After not receiving a return call for 12 hours. I called and was told I was to small of an account and they didn't have time for me. They only wanted million dollar accounts. They would not help me.Fortunately I found a very professional company who helped me immediately and has picked up our business.We may appear to be a small company but we have direct contact with over 6000 people a week who ask me all the time who I use for different services. I now recommend our new company.
Sep 01, 2022 · jim gunterAfter 5 years of doing business with GARR we found out today we have been dropped by their company, and they are refusing to continue to service our location. They were previously responsible for all of our hot and cold holding equipment in our Jacksonville restaurant. We were told this is because we are no longer a large enough customer, they dont make enough $ off of us. They did their jobs well enough we don't have to call them out very often, which is now a reason to not service us. We were given no notice, and found this out by calling today when our ice machine went down. We will now hurry to find a new provider. I suppose any work/parts under warranty from them is now forfeit. Company culture is making a huge change in the wrong direction here. Disappointed is an understatement.
