Gemini Heating & Cooling Introduce
Selecting a reliable contractor for your home's Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) needs is one of the most important decisions a homeowner in Ohio will make. Given the state's extreme weather patterns—from sweltering summer humidity to deep winter freezes—a functioning HVAC system is not just about comfort, but about safety and the protection of your property. Gemini Heating & Cooling, a local contractor based in Hamilton, Ohio, is a provider specializing in residential heating and cooling services for Butler County and the surrounding Cincinnati region. The company operates as a Limited Liability Company (LLC) and has been in business since 2015, with its BBB file opened in 2017, offering local residents an option for their essential home comfort needs.
As a local service provider, Gemini Heating & Cooling aims to address the common residential issues that Ohio homeowners face, from emergency repairs to the installation of new, energy-efficient units. Mr. Michael Parks is identified as the owner and principal contact for the business. When choosing any contractor, particularly for a crucial home system like HVAC, it is essential for prospective customers to look beyond the basic service offering and thoroughly evaluate the company's commitment to professional conduct, quality of work, and customer communication. The local business landscape is competitive, and transparency and integrity are key differentiators.
Homeowners in Hamilton are encouraged to research the full scope of customer experiences available publicly. Reviews from real customers offer vital insights into a company's operational professionalism. For instance, customer feedback regarding Gemini Heating & Cooling includes specific concerns about incomplete or 'messy' structural work, such as improper sealing of drilled holes in a basement and inadequate cleanup following an AC unit relocation. Furthermore, the feedback details serious allegations of unprofessional personal conduct by the owner, Mr. Parks, which led a customer to feel targeted and exploited. These kinds of comments regarding professionalism, respect, and the quality of final workmanship are critical factors that should heavily influence a user’s decision when selecting a contractor to work inside their private home.
The ultimate goal of any local service is to provide reliable, high-quality work in a professional and trustworthy manner. A successful contracting job involves technical expertise, clear communication, respect for the client’s property, and ethical behavior from all staff, especially the principal management. While Gemini Heating & Cooling is available locally, Ohio residents are advised to prioritize choosing a contractor with consistently positive public records on both technical competence and professional integrity to ensure a headache-free experience.

What Is Worth Choosing
The choice of Gemini Heating & Cooling must be based on a balanced assessment of their technical offering and their track record of professionalism, as reported by local users. What is worth choosing about this contractor is their local presence in Hamilton, which often translates to prompt service for neighbors, and their defined specialization as an HVAC contractor. They have the capability to handle significant projects like new AC unit installation and complex structural modifications required for unit relocation.
However, the worth of a contractor is often defined by the consistency of their service quality and professional conduct. Prospective customers in Ohio must treat serious negative feedback as a vital part of the decision-making process. Concerns about incomplete structural work—like leaving a drilled hole inadequately filled and messy—indicate potential issues with attention to detail and professional project closure. Even more concerning are the ethical and personal conduct issues reported against the owner, Mr. Parks, which a customer felt exploited and mistreated.
In a field with many reliable options, a contractor’s commitment to ethical conduct and respect for the client, especially a single woman as described in the review, must be paramount. For any major home project, Ohio residents are advised to take the following steps to ensure a positive experience:
- Always request a written, detailed estimate that explicitly covers the scope of work, including cleanup and restoration of structural integrity.
- Verify current local and state licensing and insurance documentation.
- Thoroughly check multiple, current reviews across various platforms to gauge consistent professionalism.
- When meeting with a contractor, establish clear professional boundaries and assess their communication style and respect for your home.
While Gemini Heating & Cooling provides a local service option, homeowners in the Ohio area should be cautious and only move forward if they are fully satisfied with the company’s assurances regarding professionalism and quality workmanship, particularly in light of the available public feedback.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Say this as simple as possible. My experience with Gemini Heating and Cooling in 2020 was messy. When I first met Mike, it was because my a/c unit needed to be moved so a guy called him. Didn't say much move the a/c unit, the ending was messy. He had to drill a hole in the basement to move everything which I got a picture. He threw up some cement to fill the hole, everything dripping, he threw some cardboard up there just to keep it from dripping anymore on my basement floor. He said it will dry and left it. Never said a word, just settled. Also he was wearing his wedding ring at the time.Second encounter was this year in April 2024, contacted him for an estimate for a new a/c unit, he said he has one I excepted he brought it. This time no wedding ring and seem to be offering too much to still be married. Honestly with what I got, I feel I should have got the whole a/c unit for free. Mr. Parks I feel targets single woman like myself, pursues them and uses whatever is beneficial to him. I was helping him, referring him to people, up lifting him and this is what I got. A headache. I won't be using his services, any of his service and I won't be referring him. He asks can a small business owner get grace?? Ok you make mistakes but how many f-ups do you stop calling them mistakes and just call it stupidity! Mike proved to me he is messy from my basement to other things. I hope your wife forgives, cuz I don't.I won't be calling your services either, there is too many HVAC service just like you. Also be care who you trust, is what you taught me the devil was once an angel.Again whatever you was going through that's not my fault and I didn't appreciate what you did! I wish you well.

Oct 25, 2024 · Michelle SimmonsThey were chosen for me by Choice Home Warranty to fix my AC. First they said it was the propeller blades. Left before checking if my AC would work. Had to get them to comeback, this time it was a fuse then not a fuse and it was something else. Fixed and left before testing to make sure it worked, but told me I needed a new AC since it wouldn't last and would tell the company that for us that we actually need a new AC. They ended up just telling Choice Warranty that everything was fixed and the job was done..........welp 3rd visit told me it was a part on the compressor. Now this fix lasted maybe 2 weeks and now my AC is down again. Has not worked since Early May. Had to get someone new to be reassigned through Choice and I will gladly pay the fee again just so i can get someone new.

Jun 23, 2022 · Nicole DonahueMy mother in law was assigned this agency by Choice Home warranty to come come look at her furnace this winter. Someone came out and told her it just needed a new fuse. He spent less than 10 minutes looking and assessing the problem. When she had it checked by another company they told her she needed a heat exchanger. Luckily she had a couple space heaters, because it got extremely cold within the week it took to get someone to come back out. Do not recommend.

Sep 27, 2024 · Tracie OwensAssigned through American Home Shield. My A/C stopped running after he made a "repair". They wanted to sell me on an entirely new unit. Stay away from this company. I reccomend going with Fast Response Heating and Cooling instead. They fixed my A/C the next day!
