I would give you minus stars if I could. You sent me a lying dishonest service person to do work on my ac. After leaving my house he left the air condenser top plastic cover off of the fan motor, which if it blew away rain would get into the unit and cause more damaged. He said good thing I had the ac shut at the disconnect switch, because if it was left on, you could possibly ruin the compressor. Well this guy not only leaves the disconnect on, possibly causing damage to my compressor, but purposely leaves the disconnect box wide open, and not putting the cover back on. And if it rained could of cause damage to my ac unit compressor.Worst service person that ever came to my house, he lied to my warranty company, so they denied my claim only so he could give me a bill for $935 to install a new fan motor , which would of been covered under my warranty, if he didn’t lie to them. After reading all the reviews on yelp, do yourself a favor steer clear of this company

I honestly would not recommend Air Zone after my most recent experience. Their service was assigned to me by my warranty company back in January to repair an issue with my a/c and heating system. The first technician, Alex was sent and he was outstanding. He diagnosed and properly recommended the fix action. The next technician was sent to verify the proper repair was not so great. I was given an estimated arrival time and I was available. Without a call or text to advise me that he might be a little late, which I would have been completely fine with because I know that things like the previous job or traffic might impact arrival times. After he arrived and diagnosed the issue, I was told that the part needed to be ordered and someone would call and schedule the installation. After nearly a month I called to inquire about the repair since I had not received any correspondence at all. I was told that the part needs to be ordered and someone would contact me within a few days. Again I received no correspondence until I contacted the office to inquire about the repair since. This cycle continued for two months until the warranty company had to reimburse me for the purchase of a portable unit and make contact with Air Zone directly. Finally after two months a technician was sent out to repair the unit but didn’t finish the repair due to reasons that he explained as the method he used to remove the damaged parts. I was again told that the part needed to be ordered and the same cycle of no communication continued. The same technician returned about two weeks later with the same results of not being able to complete the repairs and left the old part sitting on the unit. After a few weeks the technician returned and was able to finally complete the repairs. The main issue I have is the lack of communication. I understand if the parts are on back order or the technician is running late because I know that things happen. The young ladies that I did speak with were very polite and understanding but I was not kept informed about the progress of the repairs unless I reached out.

Work is not finished yet! Filed a claim with Choice Home Warranty about no cold air on 05/27/2025. Sent claim to Air Zone. Earliest appt. was 06/02/2025. Tech came out to check system and discovered that I needed an Ultra Violet Sanitation System including transformer and ballast installed with a cost to customer for $2,087.00 payable in advance, because my Home Warranty did not cover it. They had to order a TXV Replacement Kit part before beginning repair. The part took about 3 weeks to arrive. Next appt. was on 06/25/2025. Tech came out 5:10 - 10:15 pm installing part. I called back in to report a leak in the attic. He came back out the next day at 3:41 - 5:41 pm to work on the leak, but was unable to stop it. The system is still leaking in the attic and is coming down the inside if the wall onto the floor and is causing my carpet to stay wet and soily. And my sheet-rock ceiling show large water stain from the leak. And is also leaking outside under the fan unit where the low-pressure copper wire connects to the unit. I keep calling to report it, but they cannot find the right Tech to sent out. Keep saying, I'm next on the list. Claim #: 286142585 on 05/27 - 07/05/2025 is still open. I regret ever trusting this company with my HVAC maintenance. Back in March, I scheduled an annual tune-up. The technician told me everything was in perfect condition — both the indoor and outdoor units. He only recommended replacing the UV lamp, which I agreed to. I specifically asked about the capacitor (since they typically fail every 6–8 years), and he assured me it was fine. Based on that visit, I renewed my maintenance plan for another year.Two weeks later, the outside unit failed. The issue? The capacitor — the very part I had asked about — had completely stopped working. I was charged again for a service call, labor, and parts, even though they had just “inspected” the system. After complaining I was refunded for the service call.Then, a few weeks ago, the system failed again. This time, the indoor unit was leaking significant amounts of water, causing a complete shutdown. A different technician came out and said the coils were full of mold and recommended replacing the entire unit instead of repairing it.To make things worse, I later discovered that the UV lamp — the one they replaced back in March — had never been plugged in. The power cord wasn’t connected at all, meaning the new UV light I paid for wasn’t even working.Frustrated, I called the company to cancel the maintenance plan and requested a refund of the $129 fee. I was told by Maria that it was non-refundable — adding to the long list of issues and leading me to write this review.How does a company go from claiming “everything is fine” to recommending a full replacement in a matter of weeks? The lack of attention to detail, poor diagnostics, and refusal to take accountability are unacceptable. Their technicians seem undertrained and inconsistent, and their customer service is just as disappointing.Bottom line: this company is unreliable, unprofessional, and not worth your time or money. Save yourself the frustration — look elsewhere.
