They asked if there happen to be any cancellations would we be willing to have an earlier appointment. Then they called to let us know that they had a technician on the way. The technician also called to let us know he would be there in 20 minutes.The technician asked me questions about what happened so that he could get the best starting point. He explained what he was checking for and what might be the problem. Our initial problem seemed to be working now and he explained why it might have stopped working but is now running. He told us that we should run it and see if the problem occurs again, if so we can go down a route that may require parts. Our tech was so nice, he made sure everything was running properly and clean before he left.We decided to sign up with them for their maintenance protection plan, where they will come check the unit twice a year to make sure things are working correctly. This was recommended to me by a friend who recommended this company. The technician did not try to sell me a plan that was more than I would need. He explained the plan that would be best for my unit and position. Well worth getting in contact with the company to get things fixed or just checked.

Diagnosed the problem and took his time to explain to us our options and cost. Our unit was back in service in no time! We were so impressed we signed up for their service plan. We highly recommend Diamondback A/C.

May 29, 2025 · Brian VanceFirst I want to say that over all this has been a great company to call when we have had problems with our mini splits.Yesterday made me question though if this doesn't happen to other people or if it was just us.A few weeks ago we had Diamond back out to service our units. One unit wasn't working and the technician told us it was some control board in the head unit of the mini split. The quote was for 1000 which we didn't have but I knew a new head unit was like $400. So I ordered a new head unit and we saved up the money to have them install it. Yesterday rolls around and at around 8:30 we get a call that they are on their way and would be there at 9. Perfect. Show 9:00 a.m. to technicians show up and install the new head unit after 2 hours but it doesn't work.From that time forward they are on the phone with no tech support. Trying to figure out why it's throwing a code.As each hour passes, I know that they are going to charge by the hour and we only saved up so much money to get this unit installed. By 3:00 they find out what's wrong and it's going to need another $200 part. And the new unit we bought was a waste of money as there was nothing wrong with the old unit.When it comes time for us to pay the bill, we were told that since they sent two technicians out it was going to be their hourly rate times 2. My husband had a fit.One of the technicians calls back to his boss. When we explain we don't have that money. We cannot pay per technician and that was not disclosed to us up front. He calls somebody on the phone who then says we'll charge you a crew rate. Another quote is given to us for a crew rate and it's still higher than we expect from them being there 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 That's when we're told that they also charge to and from the job site. Again we are surprised and tell them we don't have that kind of money.He called somebody on the phone and reduces it to basically all that we have money we sent aside for this project and everything we had to tide us over till our next paycheck.Again, we are satisfied with the work that they do even if we still don't have a working unit in our sons room. But I can only give a three stars as if we had known that they charge per technician we would have only asked for one and if we had been given a heads up that they had no clue what was wrong and it was going to take that long we would have asked for them to come back another time.Lastly, after everything was sent and done and we told them we could not afford to buy the part and have them install it at this time because we are wiped out. Somebody still called my husband last night and wanted to know if they could order the part and when they could come out and install it.

A kind lady took all my information without any hesitation, dispatching service out. Serviceman, Mario, arrived within 20 mins., without any hesitation, he asked to see the concerns that I was having with my outside unit. Mario evaluated the unit then came back and gave me his opinion. He didn’t try to sell me or over charge me on anything. He fix what I asked. Then followed up the next morning with a phone call, checking to see how the unit was running and if we were staying cool!I don’t think you can find greater service!
