My neighbors smelled gas and thought they had a leak. The City came out last Friday (the day after Thanksgiving) and it was my unit not theirs. I called American Home Shield, which put in a work order with Central Heating. I made the appointment with them and they were out on Monday late afternoon. The Heat Exchanger was bad, so they ordered the part. I got a call on Thursday morning from David, and the part was in and I had Heat back by 1230. Daniel and David are a couple of the nicest people, prompt, took the time to diagnose my problem and fixed it as effectively as possible. Thank you SO much for doing the work for me!!! Its nice having a reliable company to do work!!

I would like to say that the technician who answered our service calls solved our HVAC problem, but I was not impressed with his professionalism.First, he did not have a ladder to get into my attic so he could access my handler. I may have understood if the technician had never visited my house.However, he had been there before and didn't have a ladder the next time he visited. He also asked us if we had a shop vac so he could clean the drain.I think he didn't take the time to diagnose the problem with my HVAC handler being clogged, which resulted in the handler not cooling and us having to call again. He also didn't have a uniform.

In retrospect, this was a big warning sign of things to come.When they finally visited our home, they made up a reason for AHS to deny our request for coverage. Oh, they couldn't be bothered to communicate that status as well without having to call them again.So not only are they slow and unresponsive, but they are in bed with AHS. I wouldn't do business with them again if I was being paid to do it.
