Thomas & Galbraith Heating, Cooling & Plumbing Introduce
For residents across Southwest Ohio, managing the essential systems of a home—heating, cooling, plumbing, and electricity—requires a service partner that is both comprehensive and reliable. Thomas & Galbraith Heating, Cooling & Plumbing has established itself as one of the premier home comfort companies in the Greater Cincinnati and Dayton areas. Since their founding in 1977, the company has grown from a local HVAC specialist to a full-service provider, earning the trust of thousands of homeowners by offering a broad range of solutions backed by over four decades of experience.
What truly sets Thomas & Galbraith apart is their integrated approach to home services. They don't just specialize in one area; they provide licensed and insured expertise across four critical disciplines: plumbing, drains/sewers, heating, cooling, and now, residential electrical work. This means whether you are facing a sudden, serious plumbing leak, need a complete furnace and AC replacement, or require an electrical panel upgrade for an EV charging station, you can rely on a single, process-driven team. This simplification is highly valued by local users who prefer coordinating with one trusted company for complex, multi-system projects.
Their history is rooted in a commitment to quality craftsmanship and straightforward business practices. Started by Larry Thomas and Neal Galbraith in 1977, the company initially focused on HVAC but wisely expanded its services, adding plumbing in 2013 and more recently, electrical services. This expansion reflects their dedication to becoming the most client-focused, comprehensive solution for home services in the region. Their goal, as stated, is to provide a "true comfort experience that feels right, because you know it's right," achieved by educating clients on their options and backing their work with strong guarantees.

Thomas & Galbraith Heating, Cooling & Plumbing Reviews
This is how they set my toilet after replacing a flange in my bathroom, I had to call and make a fuss for someone to come back out and make this right. The technician seriously left my home with the toilet like this. A new crew came back to fix it the next week and they ended up breaking my water line to the bathtub. They rigged up a new water connection that ended up dripping. Fast forward 2 weeks and they fixed the drip but I still have a drain pipe that is leaking that they failed to diagnose. I guess they realized they weren’t capable of tackling the job and just called it quits, they just sent the invoice and completely ghosted me despite calling and leaving 2 voicemails. Not to mention the manager Ryan said that he would fix all of my drywall because they had to bust up a bunch more of my wall than needed to fix their mistake. He completely ghosted me as well. My own fault for not getting that in writing I guess. Just do your research and choose any place but here, I promise you will thank yourself. Call some actual professionals, the new plumbers I hired to finish the job they started and fix all of their mistakes was in disbelief with what T&G called finished.
Sep 11, 2025 · jesse osegueraIf I could give 10 stars I would. New furnace and a/c installed today and I couldn’t be happier. What a great experience from my salesperson, Jake, to my installers: Scott, Daniel, Jonathan and Jamaal. Very professional and willing to work with our schedules to get it done. Very nice installation and they were respectful of our home and cleaned up any messes that might have occurred. Bravo to each and every one of those involved in this project!
Aug 16, 2025 · dale cullen ARTOur experience with Thomas and Galbraith has been extremely disappointing. Their crew severed our septic system's electrical line. They did not inform us that an electrical line was cut, and then left the live wire exposed in wet conditions for hours after the crew finished. They claimed they thought the line was abandoned—but it wasn’t. That was a dangerous and unqualified judgment call for them to make, and it resulted in unnecessary costs and safety risks. They also ran over and ripped the gutter downspout after stating they would remove it before starting any digging. They also left part of the excavation site underfilled, creating a low spot for water to pool near our foundation. Two days later, they claimed they left it open for electrical repairs to the cut wire—contradicting their earlier statement that they believed the wire was abandoned. They also never previously mentioned needing to make a second trip to complete the job. Their continuously shifting explanations, poor communication, and disregard for our concerns made this a frustrating and costly experience.Update: They went ahead and fixed the electrical line (even though they weren’t contractually obligated to), along with the gutter and some of the underfilled area. It was a bit strange because they sent the electrician without any notice, and so we were at work when they showed up. This caused some issues because we had to scramble to be able get them in the house. I do appreciate that they made an effort to address some of the issues, but overall, the experience still wasn't great.
Apr 06, 2025 · LizBryan and Chris did an excellent job cleaning my vents today. They were professional, friendly, and took the time to explain the process along the way. Everything was done efficiently and with care, and I could already notice the difference in my home’s air quality. I really appreciate the attention to detail and great customer service. Highly recommend Thomas & Galbraith, and especially Bryan and Chris, for anyone needing vent cleaning!
Sep 01, 2025 · Aaron G.I called Thomas and Galbraith about two toilets that seemed to need new tank parts as they had begun running off and on. The plumber came out on July 15, 2025 and did the work. I came home later that day, both toilets were running. Called the Appointment line. Explained the issue. Asked them not to send the same plumber. Asked to have a manager call. Asked for my 7/15 receipt which had not been emailed. Same guy shows up on 7/18. Has to order a part. Comes back on 7/22 puts new part in one toilet, adjusts the other toilet. The adjusted toilets handle was way up against the tank lid and floppy. I voiced my concern before he left. "That's not an issue" he says. Go to work. Come home. The toilet with the new part is running like a waterfall. The other toilet will not flush. Call the appointment line again. Calmly I tell what's happening. Gal says I will get a call from a manager. No call yet. 3 days later. Water shut off to the running toilet. Other toilet needs added water to flush.
