Fast Response was sent out by Amercian Home Shield which is my home warranty. When having the yearly service done on the air conditioner, I was informed that there there was little to no freon and it could be frozen. Thus they recommended I get a new AC system.A representative came out to give me the price of a new system. He stated that the air conditioner would come with a new platform, and it would look really nice in comparison to what I had.The workers removed the gate so they could bring the new system in and take the old system out to the alley. They started installing the new air condition unit onto the existing platform. I inquired why they were not using the new platform that came with the new system, and he stated that I did not need it. Yet, I paid for the new platform.As the gentlemen were loading the air conditioner onto their truck, one of the workers came out of my home stating that they could not take it. I asked why and he said that he had to take it to his company. Several times I asked why, then I said that it Is my system, it came with my home when I built it. He said that it is an EPA LAW that he had to take it back to his job because there was freon in it. I asked him for proof of the law, which he could not show me. As he stormed away going back into my home, he stated that he was going to call the office. A few minutes later he came outside asking me where the platform and the four legs were. I told him that I have it. He said that he needed them so that he could take them back to the job. I told him that I was not going to give it to him because it came with my system. He told the other worker to pack up because they were leaving. I went down into the basement and notice that the furnace was no longer down there. I inquired where was it and he stated that it was on the truck. I told him that I wanted it off the truck and put in the alley. They took it off the truck and left it on the sidewalk in front of the house. I asked them about putting my gate back on and he stated "no".I am a senior citizen and them leaving my gate off left my life in jeopardy.After the workers left the supervisor called and I told him everything that had occurred.He stated that he had a crew coming in from Cincinnati to complete the job which was an 11/2 hours away. The installation was completed by 10:10 p.m. For all that I went through that day and evening, to date the Fast Response has not done anything for all that I had to endure that day and $18000 later.

This company is a terrible company. I’ve been without AC since July 8. they’ve sent three different technicians out here two of them which were children. Everyone telling me something different. I looked at the reviews, and they are known as liars and scammers … the pictures are from floor damage based on improper diagnosis.. BEWARE! As look through the reviews, it seems as if anyone that’s paying out-of-pocket they take excellent care of anyone that has to go through their warranty company. They nickel and dime, and don’t take care of the customer correctly… Such a shame. All customers should be treated the same. Again .. BEWARE!!!

Technician Derek was excellent. He came in our home, checked the thermostat, AC unit inside and outside and within 5 mins he discovered the issue. And within 20 minutes he was done and our AC was up and working. He also gave feedback and recommendations for the filter brand/type to help with the life of our AC unit. He also shared five or a full 24 hours to be back at 💯. Great work 👏🏽 I highly recommendI’ll be honest I was a bit concerned when reading the reviews. We were also American Home Shield Customers and filed a claimed using our warranty.I’m glad it all worked out. Hallelujah 🙌🏽The Davis Family 💕

I can relate to Karen Burke's experience, as related to American Home Shield. "Maybe" Fast Response does good work, but when it is done under a home warranty, I found they did shoddy work...I guess you don't make as much when it is a home warranty, so you cut corners. Today, I had the company who actually installed my furnace years ago (they don't take Home Warranty jobs) come out to clean my furnace, in preparation for winter. The repair person came upstairs and asked me who had worked on my furnace. I told him it was through my Home Warranty, and the company they sent was "Fast Response." He took me downstairs and showed me things they had done to shortcut work on my furnace. I was shocked. I did know they did crap work on the drain that comes from the furnace, which I was told was (for that piece) around $225. The problem I had, was they used multiple scrap pieces of about 5/6 inches long and just put connectors on the pieces to create the length they needed to go to my drain. The guy who came today was more than shocked at the work they did. In addition, they got an extra $1200 from me in the beginning because they said I needed to pay for the "upgrade to bring it up to code," even though the City said that wasn't a requirement from them, and they had no idea about any necessary "code requirments" Fast Response was talking about. Again, the legitimate furnace man today said he'd never heard of a needed upgrade required to have done the work they did. Scam is what it was! I need to change my warranty from American Home Shield so I can choose my own repair company in the future, and not these shoddy companies they choose to send you.

I submitted a request through my house warranty for the air conditioner not working. I thought it was just the fan but it turned out to by the whole system. Dustin and Ryan were the two employees that came out to look and were excellent. They explained to us what the problem was and helped us through the process on getting a whole new unit. They were very knowledgeable and kind to us. I recommend using this company for all heating and cooling needs.
