From the first phone call to the final installation professionalism at its finest! There is nothing worse than coming home to a hot house. My first call was to Roman Air. Arleen scheduled a tech immediately. Ramon arrived and had the system up and running in a few hours. Unfortunately, it would be a temporary fix. He returned the following day and a total evaluation determined that my old system was done. Ramon explained all my options, as well as finance options on the new unit. Thankfully Ramon was able to keep the system running for a few days while waiting for the new system. On installation day Ben and Jan arrived on time and were professional in every part of the process. They were respectful of my property and worked around my barking dogs. I now have a new system and couldn’t be happier. I am a member of their VIP program and it has been the best investment. I highly recommend Roman Air.

We initially gave Roman air a 5 star review because they seemed super friendly and very god orientated which we loved.After having them come over to our property for evaluation of our AC unit because it was blowing hot air during these hottest days of this summer.Technician came in and inspected our air handler and the AC unit outside and told us that we needed to replace our AC capacitor. We trusted the technician and we went ahead and replaced that piece which we thought at the time was the only actual issue and charged $600 total parts and labor.We even enrolled in the monthly membership services. After less than a month later our unit started struggling again, we called them of course they came because we had signed up to their membership.Ramon him self came over during the week and he stated we had a leak which the original technician did not mentioned anything about, Ramon refilled the Freon on the unit (for free) which we thought would last a few weeks at most, no it lasted 2-3 days at most.Ramon then came to our house on a Saturday to put more Freon (for free) because the unit was losing Freon significantly because of an obvious leak.At that point he suggested that we would have to replace the coils in the handler or the whole unit perhaps.We went ahead and decided to get some research and get several quotes from other AC companies. We were told by multiple AC companies that we were ripped off on the AC capacitor price which anyone can buy for under $30.I at that point lost my trust with this company at that point.How can you charge someone $280 for a AC capacitor, that you can buy in ACE Hardware for $35 bucks? that’s insane!.Mind you, they get them in wholesale and it’s cheaper than $30. Are you charging me $250 for labor? that’s insane! We even had a technician telling us that the capacitor used was Chinese part and under size for our unit.We ended up replacing the whole unit to a new one and bigger one and the capacitor was inflated at that point of replacing the whole unit. Which was a month later after the initial replacement of the capacitor.A refund of some sort would do some justice but I don’t expect it and very disappointed with this company who are “neighbors to us”.Attached is the invoice of the capacitor and the labor they charged us which wasn’t even the actual issue and a proof of a capacitor that can be bought in stores.

We’ve used Roman Air for the past 2 years. Our first encounter was in replacing our home unit. Ramon and the team were great and he even came back to make sure our system got installed properly, as the builder made many rush decisions and messed some things up with our previous installation.Recently, we called Ramon again to provide maintenance on our system and in addition, we had them come back to clean our split unit in our shop that was barely blowing air. We work with laser machines and leather. So, we have a lot of air born particles that clogged up our split unit. They cleaned our unit and the outside unit as well. What a difference !!Both units are running well. We recommend checking out the membership program too. It’s so much better than using a home warranty company who sends people out who rush their job. Ramon makes sure his team are thorough and they live up to their values. We appreciate everything Ramon Roman and the team have done for us.
