At first, Josh and his team were friendly, but when issues arose, their professionalism disappeared.After installing my HVAC in early 2024, they did a pre-summer check-in and assured me everything was fine. Days later, a severe leak from my attic unit caused ceiling damage. It required lots of time, visits, multiple repair attempts, and when we were finally almost done: one of their techs put a foot through my ceiling. Rather than handling the issue directly, Floyd’s forwarded me to their attorney without notice. They originally promised not to bill me for all of their failed repairs, then billed me over $1,200 months later. Worse, they still refuse to reimburse me for damages unless I sign an NDA—a shady and unprofessional move.It’s been almost a year, and Floyd’s has done nothing to make things right. Avoid them at all costs.**UPDATE following your reply**Thank you for your response. While I don’t intend to continue engaging further, I believe it’s important to correct several key misrepresentations—for your records and in the interest of transparency on public platforms.First, while the drain line was pre-existing, your team had two clear opportunities to identify the issue: once during installation, and again during a follow-up visit before the system was ever run. Both times, I was told the system had been fully tested and was ready to go. There was no discussion about reusing the line as a cost-saving measure—that decision was made by your team, and I trusted your professional judgment.In reality, the lines weren’t tested at all until after the first leak, when I specifically requested a test. Only then did your technician discover the clog—because I insisted it be checked. Prior to that, repairs were made based on assumption rather than proper diagnostic steps.The suggestion that I worsened the damage by running the system against your advice is false. After each leak, I shut off the unit. After the first repair and second leak, with temperatures indoors over 80°, I asked if I could manually drain the pan while cooling the home. Josh explicitly gave me the go-ahead via text. I didn't sleep that night to manually drain the pan, and there were no leaks during this time. To suggest I ignored guidance or caused further damage is simply inaccurate and defamatory.As for the $1,200 repair bill: after seeing the damage and failed repairs, Josh said, “We’re sorry—there obviously won’t be any charge for this.” That wasn’t a generous offer; it was a basic acknowledgment of fault.Finally, regarding the "$500 offer" for ceiling repairs: that was not a goodwill gesture. Your attorney offered it only in exchange for me signing a nondisclosure agreement—a move clearly intended to silence me, not to take responsibility. It’s unclear if that offer referred to the water damage or the hole in my ceiling caused when one of your technicians fell through. In either case, no repairs were made, and the matter was handed to a lawyer instead of being handled professionally or even reasonably. I spent thousands of dollars to repair the damage myself.I’m not writing in hopes of further resolution. I’m sharing this to ensure the facts are clear for anyone who may review this situation when selecting a service company in the future. While I’m glad Floyd’s is no longer operating independently, I would strongly caution against placing anyone from Josh’s team in customer-facing or issue-resolution roles. The failure wasn’t in the product—it was in the accountability when things went wrong.

He collected his money and our furnace has to date not been fixed by Floyd’s heating and air conditioning.He got his 85.00 though. We had waited since Oct, middle of October, until today, to find out they weren’t coming, found that out through Choice. I could not be more disappointed or cold, we have waited for at weeks For them to fix our furnace. Finally, we hired another Furnace Co to get some heat in these cold days. God bless them, I am sure their house.is warm.

We were rescheduled 4 times (over 3 weeks) and they had never even came to our home. I called them multiple times and left multiples messages and no one from the company ever reformed my phone call. We have a baby at home and have had no heat for over 4 months and they couldn’t even call me back. They would email the warranty company to reschedule the appointment, they literally never made contact with us once. Definitely do not use this company.

Stated he does not work for Choice Home Warranty, 3 weeks ago approx they, Choice sent Floyd’s out and his guy looked at furnace, so he not only cheated us out of 85.00, never came back to fix furnace after 3 mos waiting!….he is lying on his Advertising now.

They told me one thing, and told my home warranty company another and now my home warranty company won't pay to have my dishwasher fixed. I tried calling at different times on different days and texting them, and they just don't answer.Edit: after leaving this review they called me complaining that I left a nasty review. I did finally get the answer I was looking for. She then argued with me about how my review isn't honest. I've been calling looking for answers. They didn't answer. There's nothing dishonest about that. I called multiple times since last week. No response. And apparently that's my fault. That's just insane. She even tried to guilt trip me be saying, "ma'am do you realize we are a big company and everyone's heat is out right now, like the elderly?" I'm disabled and need my dishwasher to maintain my home. We all have problems. And if your company is so big, then you should be able to respond to voice mails in a timely fashion. I wasn't even rude to her! I asked my question. And then she gave me the answer and then she started on about my review! Who does that?!Additional edit: my home warranty company said that floyds 100% said that I was at fault. They have it documented! Even though their tech said "it just happens sometimes". My home warranty company told me I should get a second opinion and told me how to submit that second opinion so they can take away the service fee from floyds and give it to a company who will at the very least be honest with me. I still can't believe this company called me a yelled at me. What was that going to solve. Like just take it on the chin like an adult. You're going to get bad reviews sometimes. Did they think they were going to yell at me and that would make me take down my original review? Seriously? They don't know how to run a business, their customer service is abysmal, and they are liars. I've never had a worse experience with a company before!
