****updated 4:03 on 4-25-25This person is lying about me telling her I had multiple people tell me they wouldn't do this job. I was calling for job quotes, which, I have already received two from other companies in our area. Excuse me for believing your own advertisement, this is a direct quote from their own website, I copy and pasted for you to see; "Stay cool in the warmer months with expert air conditioning services from Mountain Air Inc.. Since 1995, we have provided Tri-City area with reliable residential and commercial A/C help. Our years of experience gives us the ability to properly repair all makes and models. Our services include installation, repair, and maintenance of your air conditioning unit". I will not respond further on this review. Just know there are better service places to go with.12:48 on 4-25-25I called to get a quote and they wouldn't even come out and do that. They said that because I had already purchased the unit that they couldn't install it because they couldn't guarantee it. when told them that it was brand new and is just waiting to be installed they blamed it on warranties and such. Keep in mind this is the same brand units they sell. what it really sounded like was that because I had already bought the unit and placed it, they would not be able to make enough money on me or my job. This seems like they are more worried about bottom lines than actual customers and work. I'd go somewhere else if I were you!

Edit: You see her rude and exaggerated response shows her true colors. Qualified technicians didn't disappear during COVID. They realized their worth and are working with quality companies not manipulators who beg for positive reviews and then attack anyone negative. With how horribly you treat customers I can't imagine how you treated your employees.We have two units installed by Mountain Air. One stopped working correctly. It is still under warranty and I called to ask for maintenance only to be told they don't service my area any longer. They suggested calling other Carrier dealers. When other calls told me they didn't want to service it if they didn't install it Mountain Air still doesn't want to do anything. They begged me to leave a review when they installed the unit but I didn't want to because I wasn't going to be completely positive then. I wanted to give them the benefit of not having a negative review.If you want a company that will abandon you and their products go with Mountain Air.

Mountain Air Inc is the standard of quality service, professionalism, knowledge, and being true to their word that other contractors should be measured by. Tim and his crew, Tim and Mike showed up PRECISELY when they said they would, and treated us with the utmost courtesy. They communicated everything we needed to know to prepare new construction for installation of a mini split, and a quiet new unit was beautifully installed less than 48 hours after our first phone call. This was especially impressive since we had been waiting for several months with a different contractor, and had reached a point where timing was critical. Mountain Air really bailed us out of a difficult situation. We so appreciate everything they did, and MOUNTAIN AIR WILL BE OUR FIRST AND ONLY PHONE CALL when our heat pump needs to be replaced. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company! THANK YOU SO MUCH! And thank you to Brenda in the office for your help and reassurance when I called in a panic! Julie, Bob and Frosty :-)

Another wonderful experience working with Mountain Air! It is always a pleasure doing business with the owner Tim, office manager Brenda, and installers Tim and Shadoe. After 28 years our old heat pump gasped it's last breath and Tim responded quickly to get a new unit ordered and installed. After discussing all our options, we ordered a new 2.5 ton heat pump, return air grill and thermostat. The installers took time to explain how everything worked, and thoroughly cleaned up their work areas afterward. Tim and Shadoe were professional but also had a great attitude overall - we were happy to have them here. Brenda is the same way - she takes time to answer every question and is extremely pleasant to work with.If you are looking for a contractor who returns your calls, shows up exactly when they say they will, is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and a delight to work with - then this is the company for you. Their workmanship and products are quality and priced well. We won't work with any others for all our heating and cooling needs because these guys are truly the best! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! THANK YOU! I Highly recommend this company. I called on a Friday because my AC was out when I got home, it was late afternoon and they called the Technician (Sam) to see if he could stop by to check it on his way back to the office.. of course he did!! I was so happy because Sam was very nice and honest. He never tried to talk down to me or try to get me to buy anything "extra"because i am a woman and don't know anything about AC units. He just fixed the problem. He answered all my questions with complete honesty. Since then I've had my entire unit maintenanced because it had never been done. Tim came out and took care of everything. This company is the best. If you want a Awesome AC company and honest, friendly people... Please call them.
