J.E.N. Twomey Introduce
Local users in the Missouri region, particularly those around Bonne Terre, should exercise extreme caution and be aware of significant public information concerning an air conditioning repair service operating under the name **J.E.N. Twomey**, allegedly run by an individual named Joe Niggemann. While the business is classified as an air conditioning repair service that offers general repair services, multiple recent customer accounts detail serious allegations of professional misconduct, failure to deliver services after receiving substantial cash payments, and a lack of responsiveness.
The information publicly available strongly suggests that engaging with this entity carries a high risk, and potential customers are advised to seek services from other reputable and established HVAC contractors in the Bonne Terre area. The severe nature of the complaints—involving the loss of thousands of dollars and failure to complete essential home comfort work—demands this immediate and public advisory.
A primary complaint highlights a pattern of taking payment for a new AC installation, including a significant cash amount ($2,800), and then failing to install the unit or issue a promised refund months later. A second complaint details a "bait and switch" tactic where a less efficient, 13 SEER unit was installed instead of the 14 SEER unit that was quoted and paid for. In both cases, the individual associated with the company, Joe Niggemann, reportedly failed to keep multiple appointments to rectify the issues and eventually stopped taking calls from the impacted customers. This consistent pattern of behavior is described by customers as fraudulent and highly unprofessional.

### Location and Accessibility
The registered address for J.E.N. Twomey is provided as:
1163 Adams Rd, Bonne Terre, MO 63628, USA
However, the accessibility and legitimacy of this location are directly challenged by customer feedback. One user stated, "The address doesn't exist all empty buildings!!" This raises serious questions about the physical operating location of the business and its transparency. For local users in Missouri, the ability to locate and hold a contractor accountable is essential. If the address is not a verifiable business location, it severely hinders any prospect of in-person communication or recourse.
The alleged non-responsiveness and avoidance of communication further compound the issues surrounding accessibility, as customers report that after initially making contact, the owner would not return their calls for months after problems arose.
---
### Services Offered
Based on the provided general classification and customer experiences, J.E.N. Twomey presents itself to the Missouri public as an:
- **Air conditioning repair service**
- Offering general repair services for existing units.
- **AC Installation and Replacement Contractor**
- Contracting to install new, replacement air conditioning units, including specific tonnage (e.g., 4 ton units) and efficiency ratings (e.g., 14 SEER units).
It is important to note that according to customer testimony, the delivery of these contracted services has been highly unreliable or, in some cases, completely absent. This discrepancy between promised and delivered services is the central cause of the public concern.

### Features / Highlights
Based purely on the serious nature of the public feedback, the alleged features and highlights for this business are unfortunately negative, serving as critical warnings for Missouri consumers:
- **Alleged Failure to Deliver Services:** Customers report giving large cash payments ($2,800 in one case) for new AC installation only to receive neither the unit nor a refund.
- **Non-existent or Misrepresented Business Location:** The reported address is described by a customer as non-existent or comprised of "empty buildings," indicating a lack of a transparent or fixed physical presence.
- **Bait and Switch Allegations:** At least one installation was allegedly completed using a lower-efficiency 13 SEER unit when a higher-efficiency 14 SEER unit had been quoted and paid for.
- **Consistent Evasion of Accountability:** The owner, Joe Niggemann, reportedly engages in a pattern of rescheduling appointments to fix mistakes, never showing up, and then ceasing communication, making attempts at resolution futile for the customer.
- **Vulnerability of Customers:** The review highlights that vulnerable individuals, such as a 70-year-old customer with a heart condition, were allegedly targeted and exploited by these professional practices.
- **Internal Disputes:** The owner is accused of blaming former installers (Ronnie and Trent) for mistakes, suggesting internal instability or shifting responsibility for poor workmanship.
---
### Contact Information
The contact information associated with J.E.N. Twomey is:

- **Primary Phone:** (855) 370-5027

### What is Worth Choosing (An Urgent Warning)
In the context of local business services, choosing a reliable contractor is paramount for safety and financial security. Regarding J.E.N. Twomey, the overriding message to all Missouri users is one of **urgent caution**. Based on the detailed and consistent public complaints, this entity's reported business practices—including taking cash payment for essential services and then failing to deliver or refund—are severe. The allegations of fraud, misrepresentation of products, and active evasion of customers seeking resolution paint a picture of a business that is not worth choosing, but actively **worth avoiding**.
Missouri residents needing AC repair or installation are strongly advised to consult the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and local community references, and verify the physical location and licensing of any contractor before providing any payment, especially large cash deposits. When dealing with HVAC systems—which are vital for safety and comfort in Missouri’s extreme temperatures—the reported actions of J.E.N. Twomey, which allegedly jeopardize customer finances and well-being, should serve as a clear sign to choose one of the many other reputable and verifiable heating and cooling services operating across the state.

Sep 04, 2024 · Evelyn DavisDo not use this company! Fraudulent! We were quoted and paid for a14 seer unit to be installed. They did a bait and switch and installed a 13 seer. Joe the owner promised and makes appointments to make it right to correct the unit. He says he will be over at a certain time, But never shows up. This type of behavior goes on and on. He answers texts and calls once and sets up an appoint like he will take care of the problem, then never shows up-then he won’t take your call again for months. Shady shady. Unprofessional. He also blames his installers for the mistakes, whom have since left the company (Ronnie and Trent).
