Fire & Ice Heating and Air Conditioning Reviews
Tim, Alex, Lane, Alex, Alex, and Heath (in that order) were timely and professional. This review reflects nothing about any of the 5+ services and professionalism which were displayed. My family is very tired of dealing with a frozen AC unit coil for 5th time in less than a week. Newly installed unit on 7/1/25 and today marks the 5th time calling for a tech to come to our home. We need action done. We need some acknowledgment of the fact we spent over $8,500 for a new AC unit and now have to check for frozen coil, turn off unit, call for a tech every morning of our holiday weekend. Our holiday plans have been completely messed up. This is not appropriate or acceptable. Make it right. And soon. Field Supervisor, Heath is great but doesn’t have answers either. He’s elevating to management. I talked with Jared Service manager on Sunday and he said he’d see this through with us. I left a message on Monday morning and never received a call back. Seeing this through?
Jul 08, 2025 · Jay KeeranI had a tune up and inspection which started off fine, but midway after I said I needed to think before signing up for a service plan, the tech got very short. I asked questions about the second floor being hot and he just said “should be good”. The AC unit still has leaves in the bottom and all the tech seemed to do was spray the outside down and run diagnostics. I had service plans before with other companies for less cost and much more expertise.
Jul 29, 2025 · Jacob StaufferI called Sunday because our AC was running, but not cooling. When I called I scheduled a maintenance appointment and then my fall tune-up. When I called Monday to see what time they were going to come out for maintenance they informed me they cancelled my appointment and combined it with Wednesday. That wasn’t what I wanted and I asked for my appointment to be re-established. The scheduler said they had an after hours appointment and I was assured I wouldn’t be charged the after hours rates, but $99 for the call. I was charge $149 to my cc on file. The technician was fine. He mentioned the compressor was seized up and they needed to wait for that to release until a real diagnostic could be completed. They did not return Tuesday to check on the compressor as mentioned. The unit is 11 years old and more often than not what I read is the average life expectancy is 15, but could be longer with annual maintenance. I’ve had Fire and Ice out twice a year for maintenance and yet we are still in this situation. In addition our clean air effects has been working off and on, but when they come they say everything is good. It appears the electrical connections aren’t secure because the lights keep flashing warning signs that say it’s bridging. For the cost of the units, the clean air effects and the $390/yr in our 2x a year tune ups I am less than pleased with the products and quality of our air. I assume our furnace will probably be on the outs as well even though they are good for 20-30 years on average. The technicians are kind, the schedulers have stopped preemptively calling to schedule our maintenance agreement tune ups, the units are suspect, and in the end will be out more money because of it.
Aug 27, 2025 · eric pfeiferMy husband and I have been holding off as long as we could to replace our furnace and a/c. Our furnace ended up being on its last leg and repairs were no longer an option, it needed replaced.Fire and Ice provided us with such a great experience from the beginning to end. We talked with Scott, our sales rep who was not pushy at all. He provided us with a list of our options to install exactly what we needed for a very fair price. With the temps dropping like they did this week, we needed a furnace installed the next day. They had a couple guys come out to install our units and those guys worked their butt's off to get the job done. They did an amazing job! Thank you fire and ice for taking care of us, I highly recommend them - 10/10 experience!
Jan 23, 2025 · Rochelle TKai was very professional. He answered my questions to put me at ease. Overall, Fire and Ice is great! They were able to replace my HVAC system within 24 hours and the service was done right the first time. I highly recommend.
