They position themselves as more than just a store; they are a direct supplier of HVAC systems and parts, providing a unique service model that caters to a variety of needs. This overview is designed to give you a clear, honest look at what this local business offers, helping you decide if they are the right choice for your next heating and cooling project in the Bluegrass State.
The HVAC Outlet is conveniently situated in the heart of Danville, Kentucky. You can find their location at 308 Fackler St, Danville, KY 40422, USA. Their presence in the community makes them easily accessible to residents throughout Boyle County and the surrounding areas. This local footprint allows them to offer quick service, including product delivery, which is a major advantage for customers. Knowing there's a local supplier with inventory on hand can be a huge time-saver when you need a new unit or a specific part in a hurry. For customers visiting their location, The HVAC Outlet is committed to accessibility. They provide a wheelchair-accessible entrance, parking lot, restroom, and seating, ensuring that their facilities are welcoming and accommodating for everyone. This attention to detail shows their dedication to serving the entire community. Their proximity also means that they are well-acquainted with the specific climate challenges of Kentucky, which is a significant benefit when choosing the right heating or cooling system for your home. You're dealing with people who live and work in the same area as you, and they have a direct understanding of what works best for our local climate.
As a specialized supplier, The HVAC Outlet offers a focused yet comprehensive set of services to meet the needs of their customers. Their unique business model involves selling high-quality HVAC equipment directly to the public, which often allows them to offer more competitive pricing. Beyond just sales, they provide crucial support and installation services to ensure the equipment they sell is properly integrated into your home. Here is a closer look at what they offer:
Delivery: They offer product delivery services, making it easy and convenient to get a new air conditioner, heat pump, or other equipment to your home without the hassle of arranging your own transportation. One customer, "Rick," was specifically praised for his friendly service and for putting the unit in a convenient place upon delivery.
Heating Equipment Repair & Installation: They have the capability to handle the repair and installation of heating equipment. While they act as a supplier, they can also provide or arrange for professional installation services, ensuring the job is done correctly.
Technical Support: The HVAC Outlet offers technical support to guide customers, whether they are professional contractors or DIY homeowners. This service is crucial for ensuring the correct parts are ordered and that the installation process goes smoothly, and is a key part of their business model, as they serve a variety of customers from different backgrounds.
Air Conditioner Sales: They are a dedicated air conditioning store, offering a wide selection of air conditioners and related components, including mini-split systems, which are a popular, energy-efficient choice for many homes in Kentucky.
The HVAC Outlet has several features that make it stand out in the heating and cooling market, although some aspects have drawn mixed feedback. A key highlight is their unique position as both a supplier and a service provider. This allows them to offer what they describe as "the best rate on brand new HVAC replacements in Kentucky," as they sell equipment directly to the public and have partnerships with installation companies. This can potentially lead to significant savings for the end customer. Another major feature is their focus on customer service and product knowledge. One positive review highlights an employee, Rick, for being "so friendly" and ensuring the customer "knew what was what" with their order. The company's website also emphasizes their commitment to providing unparalleled customer support and answering any questions a customer may have. This level of interaction is crucial when dealing with complex HVAC systems. On the other hand, there are notable concerns, particularly regarding their warranty and post-sale support. A review from a customer who was given the "run around" for a warranty claim on a mini-split unit highlights a potential issue with their follow-through on promised services. This feedback, along with others mentioning difficulties in reaching key contacts, suggests that while they excel at initial sales and technical guidance, their after-sales support may be a point of frustration for some customers. It’s important to note this duality, as it helps paint a more complete picture of the business.
To get in touch with The HVAC Outlet for your heating and cooling needs, you can use the following contact information. Their team is available to assist you with inquiries about new systems, parts, or to discuss an installation. They understand that a new HVAC system is a significant investment and are prepared to provide information and guidance to help you make an informed decision. The primary phone number for the business is (859) 209-1112, and you can also reach them on their mobile at +1 859-209-1112. Having multiple contact options shows their willingness to be accessible to their customers. Their physical address is 308 Fackler St, Danville, KY 40422, USA. While positive reviews often mention specific employees who are easy to reach, some of the negative feedback suggests that call screening can be a problem, making it difficult to get a hold of key individuals like "Blake or Ricky." This is a factor to consider when trying to contact them, particularly for follow-up issues.
So, what is worth choosing about The HVAC Outlet? The primary reason is their distinctive business model, which can offer significant cost savings on new HVAC systems by selling directly to the public. If you are a homeowner, landlord, or handyman who is comfortable with managing your own project or working with a separate installer, The HVAC Outlet could be an excellent choice for sourcing high-quality equipment like Rheem or MrCool units at a competitive price. Their technical support and product knowledge can be very helpful during the purchasing process. However, it's essential to be aware of the mixed reviews regarding their post-sale service and warranty claims. While some customers have had great experiences with quick delivery and friendly staff, others have faced challenges with communication and warranty follow-up. Choosing The HVAC Outlet means weighing the potential for substantial savings on the initial purchase against the possibility of a less-than-seamless experience with after-sales support. For those who prioritize a low upfront cost and have a clear understanding of what they need, this business could be a fantastic resource right here in Danville, offering a different approach to the traditional HVAC service model.

Aug 04, 2025 · Robin RenfrowIf I could give zero stars I would! They are nothing but a bunch of crooks!!!!!! Purchased a mini split unit and the board in the unit went out. Contacted Ricky bc the unit is still under warranty. I was given the run around bc the company of unit went out of business. It’s still under warranty and I was able to get in touch with the warranty company, all the HVAC outlet has to do is call the company give them the part number and place the order……..A month later they still have yet to reach out to the company for the part. When you call the outlet they screen your call and you never speak to Blake or Ricky. Only a lady who says “they are busy”
