Texas Heat & Air Introduce
In the heart of Texas, where the weather can be as unpredictable as it is extreme, having a dependable general contractor is essential. For residents and business owners in Cleburne, and throughout Johnson, Somerville, Hill, and Hood counties, one company stands out for its unique blend of general contracting and specialized HVAC expertise: Texas Heat & Air. This article is designed to give you an in-depth look at this local business, its services, and the reasons why it has become a name trusted by many, while also addressing some of the feedback they have received.
A general contractor is the linchpin of any construction or remodeling project, responsible for everything from initial planning and securing permits to managing subcontractors and ensuring a project is completed on time and within budget. Texas Heat & Air provides this crucial oversight, but with a significant advantage: they are also a full-service HVAC contractor. This dual expertise means that they can handle a wide range of projects, from small service calls to large-scale residential and commercial installations and remodels. This integrated approach ensures a more streamlined and efficient process for clients, especially for projects where climate control is a key component. They have been a family-owned and locally operated company since 2011, building their reputation on a foundation of quality workmanship and timely completion of jobs.
The importance of a functioning HVAC system in Texas cannot be overstated. A failure during a heatwave is not just an inconvenience; it can be a serious health and safety concern. Texas Heat & Air has built a loyal following by providing prompt, professional service when it matters most. A positive customer review highlights this perfectly, with a technician named Juan quickly and accurately diagnosing a loose wire and a dead capacitor, fixing the problem within minutes and with the necessary parts on hand. The reviewer praised the company's "great company and communication all the way around," which speaks to their focus on the entire customer experience, not just the technical fix. This level of responsiveness and clear communication is a key reason why so many Texans turn to them in their time of need.
However, it is important to acknowledge all available public data, which includes a negative review that raises concerns about communication and follow-through. This customer's experience of being charged a diagnostic fee and then being unable to reach the company for days is a serious issue. While this feedback is a part of the company's public record, it's also important to note that many other customers have had positive experiences, praising the professionalism and effectiveness of their technicians. This illustrates the importance of due diligence and clear communication from both sides. A company's response to such issues is often a true indicator of their commitment to customer satisfaction.
For many Texans, a home is more than just a place to live; it's a sanctuary. For businesses, their physical space is a direct reflection of their brand and a critical component of their operations. Texas Heat & Air serves both markets, offering a versatility that few other contractors can match. They handle everything from upgrades and duct work to sales and service, providing a one-stop-shop for all HVAC and related construction needs. Their commitment to providing "first class HVAC service" is a driving force behind their work, ensuring that every customer can "sleep with peace of mind." They are fully licensed and insured, providing an extra layer of security and trust for their clients.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We had our upstairs unit go out two nights ago. I put a request in with our home warranty company. And they picked this company. From the scheduler to the technician I have zero complaints. What I thought was the front unit outside going out was actually the back unit. Juan the technician noticed there was a loose wire. Upon opening up the box the capacitor was dead. Some how the unit kept running. He had the supplies on hand. And was able to fix the problem within minutes. He explained everything from start to finish. Great company and communication all the way around. Thank you!!!
Jul 12, 2025 · C. KnowlesWould give them 0 stars if I could BEWARE do not choose this company! Came out to diagnose our AC, charged us the diagnostic fee and said they would refund us that fee once they fixed it. It has been 3 days and we haven’t heard a THING from them. They have basically stolen our money! I’ve called more than 30 times and they will not answer, my husband went by and the door was locked during business hours. Thieves.
Jun 04, 2025 · Emily PopeWhat a horrible company. I have American Home Shield and all they send is this type of company. First Juan comes out and disables my ac board when he came down I asked him what he did he said nothing you need a new board. Ahs sent another tech that discovered he didn’t reconnect it after he took it off. Then they resent Tim out for duct work only wow what a winner. Comes over and tells us he won’t let any of his people work in our attic unless we put walkways up there. We did that then he returns today and tells my husband to nail or duct tape them down, right 😂. Then he supposedly goes up and measures and comes down and claims that ahs has denied the claim. That was the first dispatch number I explained to him. He then stated I gave him a 1 star review for the last tech ( well here’s another for you Tim) my husband stated we’re not here to talk about that. Then he refused to talk to ahs then he stated that the duct damage was done by a coil put in backward then stated it could have been other things that caused it. But was going to report it was the coil. So actually it was a great possibility it was wear and tear on a 26 year old home. Which he didn’t like. He then stated they don’t do duct work because they don’t make money so why the heck was he at my house when ahs stated duct work only. It was one lie after another and he became belligerent and stood up like he was tough. My husband kicked him off our property and we have reported his behavior to ahs. I will not have any of this companies techs on my property as none of them are honest. This one was just mad because I gave the last tech a 1 star when as far as I am concerned they both earned less than 1 star.
Jul 22, 2025 · Kellie HoaglandTim and his crew worked tirelessly to determine what was wrong with my HVAC system after the company I used to service my system for years failed us. Unfortunately, we had to replace our entire system and duct work, however, we saved thousands of dollars because Texas Heating & Air has partnered with my home warranty company.Tim went above and beyond to provide a fair quote and superior customer service and support. He is an answered prayer. His team was respectful and knowledgeable. They did a great job. We are so relieved to have A/C again after 10 days of no air, as well as other major issues remediated with preventative measures in place and right before the summer heat is upon us. Thank you Texas Heating and Air!
May 13, 2025 · Jodie HouckI recently had my entire heating and air conditioning system replaced by Texas Heat and Air, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. From start to finish, their customer service was exceptional. It’s clear they generally care about the customers, not just getting the job done, but doing it right. They were prompt, professional, and took the time to answer all my questions. Choosing a new HVAC system could be overwhelming, especially considering how expensive it is, but they guided me through every step and made the process easy and stress-free. Their knowledge and patience really stood out.The installation was top-notch. A good system is only as good as the install, and they did an excellent job. I have full confidence that if I ever need anything in the future, they’ll be there to help. I truly trust them I can say they’ve earned a customer for life.I highly recommend Texas Heat and Air to anyone in need of HVAC work. You won’t be disappointed.
