SCAMMER ALERT, NOT A MOM & POPS FAMILY OWNED COMPANY, COMPANY WAS BOUGHT OUT AND ARE COMMERCIALIZED, OVERPRICED, AND RUINED/FLOODED OUR HOME.Our price was 12000 for new unit install, this was a small unit with one hookup for a vent and the condenser outside.Installed high priced air conditioner and were greeted by sketchy individuals to replace our air conditioner unit. They are not professional and made a major mistake on our unit, then tried patching it up with tar. Avoid this company at all costs, don’t let the website fool you. I have a laundry list of companies that can do a better job - even your mom and pops company an actual one could do far better.Our home was flooded from their poor installation and they made us wait a week for a reply, hid information from us, and tried to repair it with GRACO TAR! This is not the Texas way and this definitely was questionable. Their customer service started out fine — but when the issue got serious and we asked for insurance we had to pay out of our pocket to get all the repairs taken care of and they HID the insurance information from us. They wouldn’t even give us their holder information and constantly gave us issues.This company also thinks that we need to pay for their terrible labor which they can’t even get right and put a bandaid on and called it repaired. I’m so disappointed in the company and I hope you keep looking.We are now over 10,0000 out of pocket on repairs, more than 15000 owed, actually 23000ish, and we haven’t even had help from any of this and we’re left on our own. They were only concerned for their own liability and came here to try and create a narrative and “figure things out” for us. We sat in mildew and disgusting mess for 7 days almost before leaving and getting an air bnb until the repairs are done and mold is tested.These people are just your business sharks looking for overpriced stuff for their cheap, low level labor.KEEP LOOKING!

We bid out our the replacement of two units. 2 ton and a 5 ton. We chose Southern Comfort Mechanical due to the professional way they reviewed the old system including the third unit which needed some repair including pictures of everything . Gave us clear reason what they recommended. Jacob G. Was outstanding he gave heads up when he would arrive showed up on time followed up The installers were great and Jacob checked everything and set our thermostats as well as repaired the wiring on the the other unit. They were outstanding in every way. Thanks Southern Comfort. Highly recommend them If you want it done right.
