After the unit was installed i had to call them back numerous times because i kept loosing refrigerant and had to install window units to cool my house after paying 20,000 dollars for a unit. They finally came and fixed the issue which was cheap quick connector fittings for the refrigerant lines. They Also did a poor insulating the lines so i would get condensation leaks in my ceiling. I personally had to fix a lot of the issues my self but its very disappointing to spend that much money in a system and not have peice of mind.

However, the positives end there as the technician they sent did not seem confident, did not communicate well, and did not offer me change when I paid him in cash. I don't like to micromanage people when they come to do work in my home, but I do like them to take the initiative with telling me what they are doing and why so I have a better idea of what the problem is (and simply because this is a more transparent way to do business).The technician worked for about two hours before informing me that he could not fix the problem and that the HVAC likely needed to be replaced. This was upsetting news and naturally I had a lot of questions - such as if there was a solution for temporary relief in the meantime, how long a replacement might take and how much it might cost. He said he would need to confer with his boss and that his boss would reach out to me. Even in the 90-degree heat, he had no short-term solution he could offer and did not even offer up an apology or anything that resembled sympathy for the issue.We are over an hour into the next working day, and I still have not heard from anyone. It just doesn't seem like good business to tell a customer, "Sorry, HVAC is shot" and leave them high and dry. At least reach out within a couple of hours, even if by text, with some information on next steps. Especially considering it is miserably hot in my house (90 degrees). I paid good money to essentially be told "you have to sit in 90-degree heat for an indefinite time" and ditched.I will not trust them with a bigger job, given this interaction.

They refilled coolant but did not fix leak. When we came back a month later air was not working and had a huge electric bill because it had been running nonstop while we were gone. Had them come out n fix it put in 2# of coolant n shut down main unit saying it needed a mother board n part was ordered. They have been out 6 times and still not working more than a few days. No heat still main unit shut down n no part. They have put coolant in all 6 times and is not holding it. Even I am smart enough to know there is a leak that needs fixed. Will be contacting Trane to let them know that Pridgens people do not know what they r doing.

Last week our house almost caught on fire because the HVAC electrical wires were not secured when it was originally installed. This resulted in a loose heating leak that eventuallyblew our main control panel and electricity to the house. We went 4 cold days without heat and electricity. The cost so far to repair the system is at 1,200. It is a shame because if the wires were tighten at the time of installation, this would have not occurred.We reached out to the Pridgen Brothers first and foremost to let the brothers aware of our experience to ensure future customers were not receiving rushed services or loose wiring. We also requested some form of responsibility and financial support/ assistance. However, the brothers have not offered support or even a response. I know no one wants unhappy customers or an experience like my husband and I have had. What I hope is for companies to be human and to accept responsibility when accidents occur.

Called them and they said we fixed your leak you probably got another one after we fixed that one I mean it happens is what she said now I’ve to fixed the compressor and my unit is about 6 years old. They do not stand behind their work like they claim.
