I requested a service call to replace a light and to conduct a general maintenance on our cooler as we do with our heating and air each year. The first call, I put in a request to come out and fix a light that had gone out and for them to conduct a general maintenance on the cooler. There were no problems with the cooler just needed an general maintenance on it and cleaning. The light was repaired but the general maintenance was not conducted. So I called a second time to request the general maintenance and ask why it was not done the first time I requested it. I was informed that the request for service was not on the work order. I had to call back and request for the service tech to come back and conduct the general service on the Beverage Aire machine. It was working fine in that it was cooling very well just needed maintenance and general check up. After the service tech left from cleaning coils and servicing the cooler, a couple hours later the machine began to stop cooling. I texted the next day pursuit to the companies recording and requested for a tech to come back out. I received a text indicating they were waiting on approval. I called their office and the receptionist indicated the company could not assist us until some quote was approved. The quote was for replacement seals around the openings and for a valve for the coolant. I indicated to her we had an emergency in that the machine had stopped working after the cleaning and service and we were needing the tech to return which again she indicated they were trying to get approval for the job first. I was not sure why they needed approval for a separate situation. My question to her was why did they need approval for a quote, when this was a separate issue based on the service call. Putting seals around the door and maybe even replacing a valve would not get the cooler cooling again. I asked if they had insurance since our product in the cooler had now gone bad. She indicated it was my responsibility. I indicated that the cooler was working fine before their tech had completed his service call.She abruptly stated I needed to find another company and hung up. So much for customer service. I guess they don't need my business. So I called another refrigeration company.

Next morning I tried and luckily someone picked the phone and I asked if they ever listen to their voicemails, and they said yes, but they did not even apologize for not returning the call even in 24 hrs,Anyways, I told them what the problem is and the technician would come and check out.Technician called and we made an appointment for 7/11/2019 at 9:30 am and he showed up at the place.He came and started looking and said that my coil is dirty and it need to be cleaned it would solve the problem. I said you know what you are doing I just hope that I don’t have to call tomorrow that my freezer is still having the same problem. He said no it won’t be and if at all it happens, call him and their office. What kind of a technician would not check the if the freezer was low on Freon and I guess a technician from Price refrigeration does that, he cleaned the coil did not check anything else and I wrote a check in good faith.Next morning came back and found the freezer is still at the same temperature. Kept calling the Price refrigeration office and no one is picking the phone. Texted technician he said keep trying to call them, I went and emailed them also and kept calling them and after a while Lisa returned my call and I explained the whole situation and she said to give her few minutes and she will get back to me, 45 minutes went by and no one called back and after that I received a text message from Lisa which is“Brian said he blew out the coils on walk-in as was blocked solid. Will have to come back to check it. There's no warranty so there will be a charge but trip won't be charged. Tx”I asked if I can speak to someone no one called so I decided to call her and she was cold in answering and said that we have to pay for if they come out again.That is some shady business, what kind of service industry they run where they don’t appreciate a first time customer and just want to milk them for money.I would never ever recommend them to anyone because BRIAN the tech said if there is a problem call them , it was not a new problem it’s the same problem I paid for to be fixed by Price Refrigeration but they can’t see the big picture here.I have a bar and restaurant and I know what service is, they are really a rip off.If there is a way I could not give them any star I would do so, but to post my review I have to give them one star, that sucks.
