We have been very pleased with the replacement of our heat pump system with a Mitsubishi Hyper Heat System from Mtn. Valley Home Comfort. Everyone we have worked with hasbeen super nice and easy to deal with. Charlie came and gave us a quote on Dec. 9th and we gave the go ahead on Dec 13th and they ordered the units and they were installed on Dec. 20th right before Christmas. The office staff I talked with (Megan) with questions and doing the financing was very nice and always very responsive to my emails or calls with questions. They took out our old unit and installed the new unit in the same day and everyone did a great job and made extra efforts to leave the work area clean after they were done.We have enjoyed the warmth of the heat from this unit compared to our old unit. Kyle Roberts came to do a cooling checkup once warm weather kicked in and he was very friendly and courteous and answered all of our questions. We were having a problem with our A/C not staying on very long and not keeping the upstairs cool enough. Kyle came and eventually figured out that the unit has a built-in sensor where the cool air return vent from the basement was drawing in the cooler air and "telling" the unit that it did not need to keep the unit in a/c mode and was shutting it down. Kyle has ordered an extension sensor wire that can be extended to the upstairs so the unit will use the upstairs temperature to tell the thermostat to stay on until it cools to the desired upstairs temperature rather than measuring the cooler downstairs temperature that was coming in through the cold old return there.So far, based on our dealings with MVHC, we believe we defiantly made the right decision to go with them for our heating & cooling needs. I had a great experience with Mountain Valley Home Comfort from start to finish. The team was timely and arrived right on schedule for the appointment. I appreciated that they called ahead before arriving, which added a nice touch of professionalism.Both technicians were very polite and took the time to explain what they would be doing before getting started. They also informed me about a promotional deal available when working directly with the company, which was helpful.Throughout the service, they clearly explained the issues they found and walked me through how the work was being done. The duct cleaning itself was handled efficiently, and they made sure I knew exactly where they were in the house at all times. I especially appreciated the before-and-after view of the vacuum to show how much was cleaned out — it really helped highlight the value of the service.Overall, I was very impressed with their communication, professionalism, and the quality of work. I would definitely recommend them!

Even though I was given a date for an appointment a week later than it was actually scheduled for, not sent an email reminder, and had to pay for the annual maintenance 6 months in advance, I was pleased with the service. Diego was thorough with the service, patient with my not being prepared for his arrival and I was thrilled to be assured everything is fine with my > 5 year old ridiculously expensive heat pump (installed by another company that totally ripped me off and canceled my 5 year service agreement) . The kudos go to Diego, not customer service. This is where America will fail at not being great again.

10/10 STARS! This is the longest review ever, but I am so thoroughly impressed that I had to write it.It is quite uncommon today to find a company with integrity, but I found that and more in Mountain Valley. I cannot express my gratitude to everyone at this company, including the technicians, office personnel, and general manager, for the effort and hard work they put into our installation. When you are spending over $20k you get a little nervous when things don’t go quite right at first but their communication and reassurance throughout the entire process was unmatched.We purchased an 1800s Victorian home not long ago. The windows and siding are original and there is very little insulation, so it is difficult to heat and cool. The HVAC unit for the 2nd floor was about 50 years old and did not work at all and the duct work was old and gross.I received estimates from 3 different companies for a completely new HVAC system, including ductwork. Mountain Valley offered the largest variety of manufacturers with lots of new “smart” options. We settled on a Mitsubishi system because of their reputation, great track record with warranty calls and the technology they offered within their units.Fast forward to installation. The same week that we had the HVAC installation scheduled we were also getting hooked up to county sewer. We literally had 8 work trucks and 2 excavators in the back yard, plus a truck out front and one in the neighbor’s driveway. The Mountain Valley crew was very respectful of the plumbing team’s need for space and worked with our neighbor to ensure he wasn’t put out. 3 days later and installation was done.And then we had hot weather…and a very hot 2nd floor.I had to call them back. They came out multiple times and tried everything they could to get things right, but it just was not cooling. So, we finally got a visit from the GM. After spending quite a lot of time talking to us and understanding our needs and complications, he said he thought the unit was undersized and agreed to take it all out and put in a bigger unit and duct work. AT NO CHARGE TO US. Say what?!? I was astounded and relieved and so very grateful. We chose to stick with Mitsubishi and they came out within a week and installed the bigger system and ductwork.And two days later…it was still a very hot 2nd floor.They came back out a couple more times and made some adjustments that helped some but, in the end, it still was not right. I called the GM and he agreed to swap it out AGAIN…AT NO CHARGE TO US. I almost fainted. This is unheard of! I am so used to having to fight to make things right – with everyone from Walmart to our home warranty company. I could not believe it.So back they came for a 3rd installation!!! We thought that maybe the Mitsubishi was too “smart” for our old house with its variable speeds and sensors, so we opted to change to a basic on/off version of a Lennox this time. And voila! Between the duct work changes, the “dumber” unit and a couple of thermal curtains we finally have a cold 2nd floor! So cold, in fact, that we finally took out our window units, which a big step forward in the trust department for someone who likes it 64 at night.I am sending a huge, heartfelt thank you to Noah, Tabitha, Phillip, Santana, and the whole crew. Even the electricians that they use are great! We appreciate everything and are your happiest customers ever. Keep up the amazing work and please don’t change!
