First Choice Mobile RV Repair Service Introduce
For Texans who love the open road, their RV is more than just a vehicle—it's a home away from home, a weekend getaway, or a permanent residence. When something goes wrong with an RV, having a reliable and responsive repair service is absolutely critical. In Bridge City and the surrounding areas of Southeast Texas, First Choice Mobile RV Repair Service is a name that comes up for many RV owners. This article aims to provide a clear, factual, and balanced overview of this local business, drawing on public data and customer feedback. It's a look at a company that has been praised for its knowledgeable and effective technicians, but has also faced criticism regarding its communication and scheduling processes. Understanding both sides of this coin is essential for any local RV owner trying to make an informed decision about who to trust with their valuable vehicle.
The unique nature of a mobile repair service is a key part of their business model. They come to the customer, whether at a home, a storage facility, or a campsite. This convenience is highly valued by RV owners who may have an immobile vehicle or simply prefer the ease of on-site service. However, as one customer review points out, this model can face challenges. The review details a frustrating experience trying to get a large window repaired, where the customer made numerous calls over several weeks without success in getting a quote or a scheduled appointment. This individual eventually had to seek out a different company to get the work done. This experience, while concerning, is contrasted by another review that highlights an "amazing" father-and-son team, Robert and William, who were praised for their quick and effective work. This review also gives a special mention to Mrs. Tammy, who handles the paperwork and behind-the-scenes concerns with professionalism. This dichotomy in customer experience suggests that while the quality of work from the on-site technicians can be exceptional, there may be inconsistencies in the administrative and scheduling side of the business.
First Choice Mobile RV Repair Service is headquartered at 900 Texas Ave Suite #731, Bridge City, TX 77611, USA. It's important to note that as a "mobile" repair service, their physical address is primarily for administrative purposes, and they come to the customer for the actual repair work. This business model is built around the idea of ultimate accessibility, bringing the service directly to where it is needed. For Texans with large RVs that are difficult to transport or are parked in remote locations, this on-site service is a significant advantage. It eliminates the hassle and cost of towing a vehicle to a stationary repair shop. The fact that they operate out of Bridge City means they are strategically positioned to serve a wide area, including Beaumont, Port Arthur, and other parts of Southeast Texas, where the RV lifestyle is popular.
The accessibility of their service is one of their core offerings, but as the negative review demonstrates, this on-paper accessibility can be undermined by a lack of consistent communication and scheduling. However, the positive review highlights that when a customer successfully connects with the team, the service is prompt and effective. The central location in Bridge City gives them a local identity and a hub from which to dispatch their technicians. For RV owners in the area, being able to call a local number and know they are speaking with someone based nearby is often a priority. This localized approach is what attracts many customers, even if the execution sometimes falls short of expectations.
Based on the available information and customer feedback, First Choice Mobile RV Repair Service offers a variety of services for RV owners.
- Mobile RV Repair: As their name suggests, they provide on-site repair services for a wide range of RV issues. This includes everything from minor fixes to more significant problems like a broken window.
- Diagnosis and Troubleshooting: A key part of their service is the ability of their technicians to quickly and effectively diagnose problems. A customer review specifically mentions how the team "diagnosed and fixed everything quickly and effectively."
- Paperwork and Administrative Support: A special mention was given to a staff member, Mrs. Tammy, who handles paperwork and can answer customer concerns, suggesting they assist with the administrative side of repairs, which may include dealing with insurance claims.
- Routine Maintenance: The work described by the positive reviewer, which involved fixing "somethings" and doing a complete diagnosis, suggests they also handle general RV maintenance.
- Repair Services for Various Issues: The business seems to have the capability to handle a diverse array of RV problems, though the customer review specifically mentions window repair and other fixes.
Their service model is designed to be a one-stop-shop for many common RV problems, right at the customer's location.
The reviews provide a clear picture of the company's features and highlights, both positive and negative.
- Knowledgeable and Effective Technicians: The positive review is a strong endorsement of the technical skill of the team. Mr. Robert and his son William are highlighted as "amazing people and great at what they do," praised for their ability to diagnose and fix problems quickly and effectively.
- Dedicated Administrative Support: The special mention of Mrs. Tammy underscores the value of having a professional on staff who can manage paperwork and answer customer concerns. This is a critical highlight for customers navigating insurance claims or complex billing.
- Lack of Consistent Communication and Follow-Through: A significant negative highlight is the frustration experienced by a customer who was unable to get a call back or a scheduled appointment for a window repair, despite repeated attempts over several weeks.
- Unreliability in Scheduling: The same negative review points to an "abysmal" diligence to schedule anything, indicating that while the technicians may be skilled, the process of getting them to a job site can be a major challenge.
- Mobile Service Convenience: The business model itself is a major feature, offering the convenience of on-site repairs, which is highly appealing to RV owners. However, the reviews suggest that this convenience is not always delivered consistently.
These highlights show a company with a strong service team but potential weaknesses in its operational procedures.

For Texans who own an RV, First Choice Mobile RV Repair Service in Bridge City is a business with a reputation for both great technical work and potential communication issues. It is a suitable option for locals who are looking for on-site repair and have the flexibility to navigate potential scheduling challenges. The positive feedback about the professionalism and knowledge of the on-site technicians, like Mr. Robert and his son, provides a reason for optimism. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Called many times. Have a very large window broken on my RV. Tried for several weeks to get them to come out and fix it, or bare minimum get them to come out and get me a quote. I've had the insurance money for a while now. I understand it's a small operation and all, but their customers service and diligence to schedule anything was abysmal. Eventually gave up on trying to do business with them. Sent them the quotes and what not from my insurance agent, heard nothing back from them since then. Eventually found Rick's RV repair and they actually came out to get measurements and give quotes.
Apr 10, 2025 · Harvey Hammond (Barbwire)New to the area. Have had somethings fixed nothing major but I just want to say that Mr Robert and his son William are amazing people and great at what they do. They diagnosed and fixed everything quickly and effectively to help us in anyway they could. Thank you! Oh let's not forget Mrs Tammy that does things behind the scene. She knows all the paperwork and can answer any concern you have. Thank You All so much for a wonderful job and God Bless You and your family!
Jun 12, 2025 · Sarah WykeI originally contacted this company for help with a motor issue on my RV awning. On May 20, a technician came out to inspect the motor. After the visit, the awning was left unsecured — I have video footage showing not only that the fabric was left loose, but also that the technician dragged my front door across the fabric. That same Memorial Day weekend, a storm came through and caused the awning to pop open and start tearing.I reached out numerous times to ask when someone would come back to complete the motor repair and inspect the damage to the fabric. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, assuming they would take responsibility since the damage happened after their technician failed to secure it. I also tried to remain understanding about weather delays, but communication was consistently poor. Twice, they said they sent messages I never received — yet other times, I did get updates from the same contact method, so their explanation didn’t add up.Robert, who I believe is the owner, eventually sent me a long email full of excuses, denying responsibility for the damage. I responded with proof — time-stamped security footage showing the awning was secured before the technician’s visit and loose afterward. He ignored it entirely. Then, on June 25, our security system alerted us that someone was outside taking photos of our camper. A neighbor called me to say they had seen someone taking pictures of our RV, and when I checked our camera footage, I realized it was the same vehicle the technician had driven. He happened to be working on our coworker’s RV nearby. We stopped by to chat with the coworker and asked if that was the same company. Sure enough, it was.I went back to finish unloading my truck, and a little later, I walked over and kindly asked if he could stop by after he was finished. He said, “Yes ma’am, I’ll be over in a bit.” I returned to my camper and waited outside, where my husband and our neighbor were casually chatting. There was no confrontation — just a normal conversation about a truck another neighbor was working on.It started to rain, and they were sitting in the truck. They never stopped by — they just left the RV park.Early this morning, I received an email stating that the company was walking away from the repair, refunding everything, and falsely claiming that their techs were approached by “two grown men” in an aggressive manner. That was simply not true. I had been patient, respectful, and proactive for over a month trying to get this resolved. It felt like a convenient excuse to avoid taking responsibility for the damage their technician caused. This entire experience has been extremely frustrating. I went out of my way to work with them, stay professional, and provide actual evidence. In return, I was met with deflection, miscommunication, and false accusations. I would not recommend this company to anyone who expects transparency, accountability, or basic customer service.
Jun 26, 2025 · Kailey TamayoGreat and quick service!! My AC unit froze up gave them a call. They helped me troubleshoot it to get it going at a reasonable temperature until they got to my camper. Robert came out and got it going better than it has ever ran. They also work with my warranty company which was a huge plus!
Jun 16, 2025 · Ascencion SalazarVery helpful people and incredibly good work! Tammy and Robert are the best. I literally recommend them to everyone at the campground because I know they will get the job done! Fixed our shower that seemed impossible due to terrible design.
