This group is great at scheduling their people. It took 4 appointments to get our dryer vent fixed. Colby Davis was our last two appointments and he was great. We had an idea where the break was and he listened and fixed it. Had to cut a hole in the garage soffit to get to the break. Glad we got it fixed.

OVERPRICED This was my first and last time calling Maestro H2O. The very quick diagnosis was a blockage in the standup pipe to my washer. The cost of repair was $459, with is ludicrous. I paid the techs the service fee and sent them on their way. Come to find out they left water in my washer machine. I had the same service done several months ago for half the price and there was no room for negotiation. The techs were fine, but the company is overcharging.

I don't like to leave negative reviews. It seems petty and vindictive, and once enough distance has grown between me and a bad experience, I usually find I don't have much motivation to write up a complaint. It's been about 6 months since my last experience with FH&A, and today I'm going to make an exception.I used FH&A for several years. They've slowly transformed from skilled technicians to up-selling, door-to-door shills. But the real motivation for this review stems from their plumbing off-shoot, H20 Maestro.Long story short(ish): I had a main line break around 2021, so I paid them to put in a new line (essentially just fittings to the meter and to the house). I dug the line out, back-filled the ditch, and repaired the yard myself. Unfortunately, they failed to install the fitting properly, and a few years later the line was leaking again. I called them back out, they told me it was past warranty, then charged me to fix the work they had done poorly in the first place. I mentioned that digging up a main line is a big job and requires a tone of yard repair, which the "sales technician" assured me they would do with care and attention. They showed up a few days later, dug the ditch (including removing the section of sidewalk between the faulty fitting and the meter), and backfilled it themselves. They did such an awful job backfilling the hole and replacing the sidewalk slab that multiple neighbors stopped by after to ask who had done such terrible work on my property. The sidewalk panel was replaced crooked and created a 3" drop between the adjacent sections (an insurance liability for me as a homeowner). They left massive, crag-like clumps of clay on the surface. I stopped them before they covered it in grass seed and hay and asked them to wrap up and leave.To summarize thus far: they came to my home to repair work they had screwed up in the first place, charged me to do so, and then devastated my yard and sidewalk.Here's where it gets really fun. I called and let them know this was unsatisfactory. I was asked to send pictures, which I did and have included below. I asked for them to send crews out to repair the yard and sidewalk or a partial refund so that I could pay for the necessary repairs myself. After a few back and forth emails, I was literally told "That's not something we really do."To recap, I spent thousands of dollars for FH&A to lay a pex line, change the fittings twice, and backfill everything so carelessly that I've had to perform major yard tillage and repair. I'll have to bust up this section of concrete and pour a new slab myself.FH&A doesn't care about individual customers. They've become a volume dealer that relies on subscriptions and product sales, insidiously pushed through their technician visits, to increase their margins. (Their comfy club model is nothing but a way to convince you to pay them to get a salesperson in your home on an annual basis.)There are far too many qualified young men and women attempting to launch their own trade careers for you to waste your money on a company that doesn't value you. If you really want to flush your money down the toilet, call FH&A; they won't fix your toilet, but your money problem will go away.

I’m writing this review with deep disappointment and sadness, hoping it helps others avoid the stress my family endured. We joined the Comfy Club membership through Fayette Heating & Air and Miastro Plumbing, and what followed was a series of frustrating and costly missteps—at the worst possible time in our lives.After a plumber visit for a clogged pipe, we were told they needed special equipment or would have to tear up our bathroom floor and sink. I explained—twice—that we had a large crawlspace door with direct access to the plumbing panel, even showing a technician a photo of the setup. Despite this, they sent multiple plumbers who ignored that information, and one even damaged a pipe using a motorized snake until it broke.Eventually, Bluefrog Plumbing came out for a free inspection. Their first question was about crawlspace access. Within 15 minutes, they not only cleared the clog but also repaired the damaged pipe—at no charge. They even waited while I picked up a coupler and gave us a $45 discount. The crawlspace carpet had absorbed water from the leak, and their help prevented further damage.This all happened just a week before my father passed away. He was the kind of man who would’ve fixed this himself, and losing him made this experience even harder. We went over a week without working sinks, worried about mold and unseen damage. Miastro and Fayette Heating never returned my calls or responded to my emails. They offered $50 for the mailbox they damaged—but ignored the plumbing issues and potential mold risks.Update 8/27/25: I tried again to reach Fayette Heating & Air through Carrier’s chatbot, just to ask about the safest MERV filter for our unit and possibly give their maintenance plan another chance. I was told someone would call me back—twice. No one ever did. Years ago, they installed our HVAC system beautifully, and their reviews were glowing. But since the change in ownership, it feels like they’ve stopped caring about long-time customers. If you’ve had a bad experience, they seem to blacklist you rather than make it right.We’ve since found another company that offers better value, confirmed the correct MERV rating, and treated us with respect. I’ll be posting a review of that experience soon.This review isn’t written out of anger—it’s written out of grief, frustration, and a desire to warn others. We needed help during a traumatic time, and instead we were met with silence and neglect.
