Elite Heating & Air Conditioning Introduce
Welcome, Kentucky homeowners! In our beautiful state, a reliable heating and air conditioning system is more than a luxury—it's a critical component of a safe and comfortable home. Our climate, with its hot, humid summers and cold, sometimes snowy winters, demands that our HVAC systems perform at their best. When seeking professional help for these vital systems, finding a trustworthy and specialized general contractor is key. In the Crestwood area, Elite Heating & Air Conditioning is a well-known name dedicated to this specific field. While many think of "general contractors" for large-scale building projects, the term also applies to experts who focus on essential home systems. This article will provide an in-depth, factual overview of Elite Heating & Air Conditioning, detailing their services, location, and key features to help you make an informed decision for your home comfort needs.

This level of focused skill is particularly important for complex systems, where a small error can lead to significant problems down the line. By choosing a specialist, you are entrusting your home's most vital comfort systems to professionals who truly understand them, ensuring a higher standard of work and greater long-term reliability.

Elite Heating & Air Conditioning Reviews

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Purchased an entire home unit at the cost of $11,400. One year into ownership, ac stops working. Tech comes out and says motherboard is fried. New one is $700 plus labor. I expressed that "No sir this has a 10 year warranty" which he then explained "oh but you didn't renew your maintenance plan at $199 a year, so it voids your warranty". I asked what the maintenance plan was. He said "we come out twice a year to service the unit". If he said renew that implies I had it for year one, and they did not come out even once to service the machine. Nor did they explain this when selling me the unit or even call and try to sell me the plan when it was "expiring". This company seems like a scam. I will update this review once the owner makes this right and reached out... Ridiculous business practices. Scam artists

Nov 25, 2024 · Clint RiggleThe only reason I’m giving them one star is because zero isn’t an option. My thermostat went out, and I called them because the old Middletown Heating & Cooling sticker was on the unit I inherited when I bought the home. Their sales guy came out immediately and explained that even though my furnace was on the verge of failure, I had to replace the ENTIRE unit - AC and all - because my 9-year old carrier system is just so technical and sensitive that it simply cannot integrate with a new furnace without a total replacement. Conveniently, he was able to offer a $12,600 line of credit.I filled out the requisite information for PRE-approval, never committing to the project. It took two phone calls and one fifteen minute second opinion from a local competitor, which saved me $6,000. Here’s where it gets almost criminal: I receive a credit card in the mail for that $12,600 line of credit. NOT a soft inquiry, but an actual credit card with my name and account on it. I reach out to the “Elite” salesman who says, “Oh, don’t do anything with the card, and it will expire after 72 hours.” The creditor (Wells Fargo) calls to ensure that I actually received the service. I had not, and although Elite first charged and then took off the charge, the line of credit would have otherwise remained open. This Elite company is anything but. Please exercise extreme caution, and be patient while you find a second opinion. They clearly count on people not having the time or know-how to fully vet this major financial decision.

Mar 17, 2021 · James HigdonHad new heating and air conditioning units installed on 11/7/19. Units were supposed to come with an Alexa device & Ring doorbell. Still haven’t received the devices. I call every couple of months to see what the status is. Aaron told me they would purchase the items themselves if they had to (unit manufacturer was supposed to). We did the contract with Elite, not the manufacturer.AC went out this summer. Elite came and “repaired” it. Went out again the next day. They came and applied the proper fix a day later.Came for fall maintenance a little over a week ago. Technician didn’t wear a mask or put covers over his shoes. Tracked grass through the house. As I was vacuuming he asked why I was doing so, the house was spotless. It was until he came in. He completes his job and tells me that we need either a $950 or $650 ionizer unit because mold was starting to form in the air handler. He said he smelled it right away when he opened the unit up. He said he cleaned it all up. Why didn’t he show me prior to cleaning it?!? Something smells, alright!

Oct 09, 2020 · Bart LayneElite has installed the HVAC in three homes that I have built and has always been one of the easiest subcontractors to work with. I recently had an warranty issue on my latest, and it was taken care of immediately. Already a repeat customer and would use again without hesitation.
