The service techs tried and tried and tried and contacted GE multiple times in order to go through the proper protocol to eventually replace the refrigerator per GE's warranty. Dick Van Dyke Appliance World was amazingly helpful during this entire process! A special recognition to MARGARET in the Sales Department in the Champaign store, who wanted to stay involved the entire time. She did not just sell us the refrigerator and then wash your hands of it; she stayed involved the whole time. And a very SPECIAL SPECIAL SPECIAL shout-out to ANNETTE in the Service Department! She was our lifeline and our advocate during the entire process. She kept us informed the entire time, she made sure things did not fall through the cracks, and we just can't say enough good about ANNETTE!!! We were patient during this entire process, but she made it easy to be patient because she kept us so informed! We now have our new refrigerator and love it! Sometimes in the mechanical world you just get a bad one, but to have a company that stands behind you and makes it right makes all the difference in the world! We paid 1200.00 for the electric oven with 2 ovens 5 and 1/2 years later one of the burners began turning on high heat no matter what the temperature was set on. We paid $85.00 for a service call only to find out the burner control was not considered a “major component” covered only under the 10 year plan. $400,00 later went to cook dinner and the same problem exists. Extremely unhappy with DVD Appliance. MAKE SURE YOU READ THE FINE PRINT!!!

Now when we get it delivered they ripped my vinyl floor in like 4 spots , busted areas of my drywall. And the delivery driver has a little scam so watch out if you go o we 30 mins he’ll ask you for $20 cash or if he reports it then it’s $40 . Don’t have anything to say negative about this business but they prob better watch out for crooked stuff going on outside the store.

Unfortunately the man who came before him to check my dishwasher to find out why it was leaking receives zero stars. He told me it was just steam. I asked Mark while he was here to check the dishwasher and he finally found the problem.. It was a loose hose connection. Now I will have floor replaced because the original person could not find it. As I could see the stain on the floor expanding, I quit using the dishwasher. Now I can use it again! Mark is absolutely the greatest but so many before him have missed the boat on finding different things wrong with my various GE appliances. I would love to receive a call from an owner or manager at Dick Van Dyke who will listen to my many concerns and not try to put the blame back on me.. They need to have many more men with Mark’s skill and knowledge!
