Our gas furnace stopped working on 10/31/23. Our Home Warranty dispatched Dan from Always Affordable Air on 11/01/23 who deemed it needed replaced and would file our case the next day. The weekend goes by without any word, so we called to find out that he had a medical emergency and was just now getting our paperwork submitted to HW. We were understanding, and when we asked if we should try to get someone else to do the job, he asked us to please stick with him, and he would make things right, to which we did. He ends up getting our gas furnace job mixed up with someone else's electric furnace job, and misfiles the paperwork. Again, we give him a chance to fix the issue. Finally getting the go ahead to replace the furnace he "said" he ordered, we agreed upon an out-of-pocket expense, and were set to have him come replace it on 11/24/23 between 9-10am. When he doesn't show up, we call him, and his voicemail states that any HW customers should call HW to handle their issues, because due to unforeseen circumstances, Always Affordable Air is closed indefinitely. We didn't receive any notice at all, and had to find out by calling him. Besides gross unprofessionalism, and keeping us hanging for weeks, we are now having to deal with our HW, who think the job has been completed. It's been a nightmare. We have been without a furnace for 26 days. I would caution against working with this operation, and hope that our HW will better vet their vendors. Thankfully we have not paid them anything. This has been more than an inconvenience.

I want to give a big shout-out to Always Affordable Air for coming through when I need them. On Saturday morning I came downstairs to smoke pouring out of my vents. Our furnace had overheated and was starting to catch fire. We turned it off and stopped soon to be bad situation. Danny was at my home an hour later and made a spot for us ordering us a new Furnace and install by Tuesday. They were so wonderful and now I am enjoying having clean reliable heat. If you need service I highly suggest giving them a call.

Dan at Always Affordable Air is the professional you're looking for. Everything I read about the diagnosis, repair, installation, etc. of HVAC says the manufacturers and equipment are all more/less similar, but to ensure that you get the best performance from a system, make sure your installation folks are knowledgeable and professional. Always Affordable Air exceeded my expectations. The backstory to working with Dan was that my 25yr old system finally failed. I contacted my home warranty company, and that company sent a company (NOT Affordable Air) to do the installation. My first impression was that this particular company was responsive and got the work done quickly. However, the company was sloppy. They used my old filter from the broken unit and put it in the new unit - the old filter was already dirty and didn't even fit the new unit. I called the company, and it took weeks for them to respond - many calls, promises, and no-shows. Later, during the winter, the system didn't work properly. Long story short, the installation company had some internal issues that caused its implosion. Here's where Dan and Always Affordable Air comes in - Dan was here the next day, properly diagnosed the issue, helped me work with the home warranty company, and got the system in excellent shape. The issue he found was two-fold, the biggest of which was a failed coil that was still under warranty. Every step of the way, Dan made sure to educate us on how things work, how to best maintain the system, etc. A true professional who went out of his way to communicate his schedule, the issues, etc. I will take all of my business to Dan, and I hope his business grows and thrives through the years!

I placed a service request through my home warranty company on August 22nd because my AC unit was not working properly. They assigned Always Affordable Air. I spoke with someone and they were supposed to come out to my house on August 25th to figure out the issue. They never showed up. Tried calling MULTIPLE times, and they never answered or called back. I finally decided to reach back out to the warranty company - who told me they could not cancel contract with this company until they said they could not perform services… Ok tried reaching the company multiple times again, no answer.Finally on September 15th, almost a MONTH later I received a text message from a RANDOM number, not associated with the company at all (or no where that I could find), asking if I would be home in the next 20-30 minutes so they could send a tech out to look at my AC. The tech came out & looked and said my AC unit was freezing up because it needed refrigerant & that he would have to give this info to his boss and that they would be in touch with me about it in a few days… okay great!!! Here we are, October 6th and I have heard nothing from this company. I ended up having to pay another RELIABLE company to come out and fix my unit. Which turned out to be that my return air duct needed replaced, had nothing to do with refrigerant.So out the money I had to pay for this service request because this company is AWFUL & has AWFUL customer service!I understand that dealing with Home Warranty is awful but stop screwing people over because you’re too lazy to make a phone call and update your customers on what’s going on. 👎👎👎👎

Always Affordable Air was “assigned” to me by HSA Home Warranty. Danny Green from Always Affordable Air came promptly to my house to assess the furnace issue. Identifying the needed repair part(s), he left my house. That’s the last time I saw or talked to him. Telephone calls, email, and text messages have not been answered. I cannot get a response from him! My recommendation is to AVOID DOING BUSINESS WITH ALWAYS AFFORDABLE AIR!!!!!I continue to try and work through HSA Home Warranty to try to get my problem resolved. After several phone calls and complaints to them, I am NO CLOSER to resolving the issues. This whole situation seems like nothing more than a scam!
