However, it is also important to consider the provided customer feedback, which offers a contrasting view. The reviews highlight significant concerns regarding the quality of their work and their customer service, particularly concerning warranty and follow-up. One customer specifically noted issues with a newly installed unit, including a coolant leak and a detached duct, and expressed dissatisfaction with the company's lack of response to warranty claims. The customer’s opinion that a large repair bill was charged for what should have been a warranty-covered fix is a serious point of consideration for any potential client. The review also mentions an owner who did not return calls, which is a major red flag regarding communication and customer relations.
Choosing a general contractor or, in this case, a specialized HVAC contractor, is a significant decision for any homeowner. The professional and friendly tone of this article is important, but it must be balanced with the factual information provided, especially concerning customer experiences. While the company's services appear comprehensive and their location is convenient, the detailed negative reviews provided must be taken into account.
For potential customers in Georgia, the decision to choose All Starr Air 72Degrees will depend on their specific priorities and risk tolerance. On one hand, the company offers a wide range of specialized services, from preventative maintenance to new system installations, which is convenient. Their local presence in Brunswick means they are familiar with the area and can be a timely resource.
On the other hand, the provided customer reviews raise serious questions about the quality of their installations, the effectiveness of their warranty service, and the responsiveness of their management. The experience of a customer who was left with a leaking unit and an unresolved warranty claim is a significant concern. Such issues can lead to unexpected costs and considerable frustration. In a competitive market, a company's reputation for honoring its commitments is a key factor. While some customers may have had positive experiences not reflected in the provided reviews, the detailed negative feedback should prompt any potential client to ask specific questions about their installation process, warranty policies, and how they handle customer concerns before signing a contract.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1NOT RECOMMENDED by me. I purchased and had them install two HVAC units. Within a year one developed a leak in one unit (according to them) and it needed coolant. Within less than 2 years same issue and then found that the duct connected directly to the installed unit partially came off. They charged me a lot to fix what in my opinion was a bad install since this should not have happened if the duct work was connected to the installed unit properly. The tech said that since the units vibrate this happens ... NO ... must think I am an idiot ... a lifetime of HVAC and it never happened before and another contractor I had look at it said it was a bad install. When I contacted them about fixing the coolant leak under warranty the owner never returned my call. After multiple calls still no call back. I had a long prior relationship with this company and I don't know what happened to them but I will NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN. So after over thousands of dollars for the cost of new units they installed one leaks and has from shortly after they installed it and they have refused to call me to fix this under warranty. If I could give them zero stars I would.

Mar 13, 2019 · John DoughPosted earlier about a bad install and new unit they installed. Since that post I have had to refill the coolant yet again that leaked out, replace the compressor, and replace the drip pan under the inside unit. Now, after having spent thousands more dollars in repairs for fixing this mess I have been told by an HVAC contractor that a part from the original install was installed backward and that has apparently according to him been the problem with the coolant leaking out each year. ANOTHER BAD INSTALL ISSUE FROM THE ORIGINAL INSTALL. Previously, I had numerous leaks of water from condensation that collected in the pan overflowing it and damaged my ceiling multiple times (and yes the drain was cleared multiple times each year as regular preventative maintenance). Turns out the problem there was that the drip pan below the inside unit either was never replaced or was replaced with one of a composite material that deteriorated due to the condensation that dropped into the pan. I had to have that replaced by another HVAC contractor with a metal one so my ceiling would no longer be damaged by the deteriorating pan which was clogging the drain. Who knows, maybe the other contractors were doing work they didn't have to but in my opinion if the unit was originally installed correctly I would not have had these issues. I never had any of these issues with my old unit that I didn't have to replace but did simply due to age. I see on my earlier review of the other problems I had with this new unit they posted a reply that they take pride in their work and that I should contact the owner. I did that multiple times when I initially had problems with the unit and he never returned any of my calls after all my attempts to discuss this with him. Why would I now contact the owner after buying a new unit from him that has cost me thousands more dollars in repairs to finally get all the install and bad compressor issues fixed? Posting a reply like that in my opinion is simply misleading.NEVER WILL I DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN.

Jan 21, 2020 · old guy (Older Than Dirt)I HIGHLY recommend All Starr Air 72 degrees! I had been gone for a fundraiser for 3 days. Walk into my house and it was 85 degrees!!! Condenser unit just running but nothing coming out of registers. I googled and called. They were here within an hour or so. My inside unit was frozen solid! So they prepped it to give it more hot airflow to melt faster and he said he'd be back 1st thing this morning. They showed up after their last job just to check to see if it was thawed out enough to get it working...on their own time!!!! Unfortunately, still too much ice! Showed up at 10 til 9 this morning, 10 minutes earlier than expected, got everything checked out, cleaned my filters, checked my charge, got my air working within 30-45 minutes WITHOUT costing me my 1st born!!! Then gave me a heads up that my coil is looking a little rough...I asked for a quote so I could save money instead of having an enormous unexpected expense...quote was VERY reasonable! Also told me about another device I could use to help ducts and filters since I have dogs, that was NOT expensive, but was not an overbearing sales person!!! They put it on my quote as an optional extra! They apologized for my inconvenience, they were so respectful and nice and VERY affordable! I recommend EVERYONE to call them if you need any service, repair or replacement!

Aug 15, 2017 · Laura WebbI would have given a All Starr Air a black hole if it were possible. After 3 weeks and $2100 in damages later, we had them remove their unit and we brought in a local contractor to fix the damages and install a new heat pump and air handler. Everyone that works at All Starr Air worked on the installation in our home, including the owner, Jon Starr, and it was never done properly. The final straw was my discovery of insulated bubble wrap being used to divert water from the improperly installed air handler in our attic into the drip pan. This was week three. This is a very short version of the absolute mess and hassle using All Starr Air was for my wife and myself. I was done being a supervisor, dine calling about the same leaking air handler dripping water into our attic and causing water damage to the insulation, beams and drywall in two different rooms. I was tired of the faulty wiring job causing all of the lights in our house to flash off when the heat pump kicked in. I was done with the heat pump sounding like it was a grating metal against metal. I was tired of technicians arriving late, or not at all. I was tired of getting the sense that I was pestering them. And, did I mention I was tired of supervising the technicians, and pointing out the issues that they were overlooking or discrediting? The whole experience was enough to make one question buying a home in Brunswick, GA.The one credit I will give to All Starr Air is that Keith worked with me and there was no hassle in getting a check the damages and getting the unit removed and refunded.Again. Black hole.

Mar 23, 2018 · Jacob McKnightWhat can I say? Recently we lost functionality with two Lennox units on the same Friday afternoon, leaving the primary living area of our home without air conditioning when the outside temperatures exceeded 100 degrees. My immediate solution was to purchase a portable unit from Home Depot to try to get through the weekend. The Lennox vendor already told me new units would be a good option but that their crews were likely tied up on a commercial job for a while. At Home Depot the store manager suggested I speak with John Starr the local Carrier dealer. John was at my house an hour after the manager from Home Depot called him - on a Saturday, when most vendors are fishing or playing golf. He asked his office manager to come in to the office and he met me shortly thereafter. I was so impressed with the "hustle" demonstrated by John and his associate I decided to let them replace all three units. At 8:30 a.m. on the following Monday John's installers, Richard and Alex began replacing the unit that serviced the largest part of my house. They were finished that day. The second unit was installed two days later and the third today. All of the people with whom I interacted were absolute pros. I cannot recommend John Starr highly enough.
