Marty has 37 (I believe) years in the business and was light hearted and made the hot house seem like an easy issue to correct which he did within an hour of arriving. Some part was causing the system to blow a fuse and he replaced it. The display came back on and AC was back. Thanks, Marty! I hope your head cold is gone!A vendor through American Home Shield that I wish I would have vetted prior to allowing them to work on my unit. They're not even here yet and already off to a horrible start. Scheduled the appointment Mon for Wed and when I called them to ask what time they said a call or text would arrive Tues eve to let me know. Wed 6AM comes around and no call.I text the number and they say someone will reach out shortly. It's noon and nothing. I call again and they say they'll let me know soon. A text arrives saying they'll arrive between 1-2pm.It's almost 3 and nowhere to be seen. I called AHS and complained about this horrible communication. I get folks being late or forgetting but no apology or anything for not showing on time is totally unacceptable. They are now blacklisted on our shared "neighborhood company and vendors blacklist". I told AHS if someone isn't here by 4pm I'm expecting them to send another vendor because these folks are beyond horrible.

Instead of fixing the problem, they now claim that my homebuilder installed the wrong AC unit – something they apparently couldn’t identify during the first or even second visit?If your technicians are qualified, shouldn't they have spotted this issue much earlier? Now, because of repeated mishandling and misdiagnosis, I’m being told I need to replace the entire indoor AC unit.This company has cost me time, money, and trust. It’s clear their technicians lack the necessary knowledge or training. Do yourself a favor and avoid this vendor. There are better, more competent HVAC service providers out there.

It was the capacitor that had failed but Justin went above and beyond to check pressures and temps, and top off with freon. He was kind and courteous, explaining things as he went. I'm very satisfied with his service.
