A/C Rescue, Inc. Introduce
In the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, where residents depend on reliable heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to cope with extreme Texas weather, the choice of a service provider is a critical decision. Homeowners often seek out a contractor they can trust to provide honest assessments, quality work, and fair pricing. A/C Rescue, Inc. is a local company that operates within this competitive market, aiming to serve the community's HVAC needs. While not a general contractor, this business focuses specifically on air conditioning and heating issues, which are essential for maintaining a comfortable living environment in the region. The company is part of a large network of contractors that partner with home warranty providers, which often directs a significant portion of their business. This relationship can influence how a company interacts with customers, particularly those who rely on their home warranty for service calls. For local Texans, understanding a company's background and customer feedback is key to making an informed choice for their home maintenance needs.
A/C Rescue, Inc. is a business that has garnered a range of experiences from its customers, and it is important for potential clients to consider all available feedback. Several reviews from real customers describe significant concerns about the company's practices. One review details an instance where a customer was quoted a high price for a refrigerant refill that was allegedly unnecessary, and a different company later fixed the issue for a much lower cost by simply correcting the thermostat wiring. This customer review raises serious accusations of "fraud" and intentional tampering with the unit to create a larger, non-existent problem. Another customer, who was skeptical of a diagnosis of a coil leak that supposedly predated their home warranty policy, was also advised to purchase a new AC unit. This customer's AC unit was later found to be working properly after a minor, inexpensive repair by a different company. Both of these accounts highlight a recurring theme where customers, especially those with home warranties, have felt that the company's actions and recommendations were aimed at circumventing their coverage or pushing for more expensive, unnecessary services. These experiences are a crucial part of the company's public data and are a major factor for local homeowners to consider when evaluating their options for HVAC service.
A/C Rescue, Inc. is located at 11110 Petal St Ste 100, Dallas, TX 75238, USA. This address places the company in a key commercial and industrial area of Dallas, providing a central location for their operations. Being situated in the Dallas metroplex is a strategic advantage for any service-based company, as it allows them to dispatch technicians efficiently to a wide range of communities, including those in Dallas, Garland, Plano, and other nearby cities. This accessibility is essential for responding to service calls, particularly during the high-demand summer months when air conditioners are under constant strain. For local residents, a company's location plays a role in their response time, and A/C Rescue, Inc.'s address is well-suited for serving the expansive North Texas region. The proximity allows them to theoretically offer timely services, which is often a top priority for homeowners facing HVAC issues.
The accessibility of the company's location means that they are logistically capable of serving a broad customer base. However, for Texans, the reputation and trustworthiness of a company are often more important than its physical location. The nature of the services described in the customer reviews suggests that while the company may be able to respond to a call quickly due to its location, the quality and honesty of the service provided may be a concern for some. Local users prioritize finding a contractor that is not only accessible but also reliable and transparent, especially when dealing with critical home systems like HVAC. The location on Petal Street provides a foundation for their service area, but the customer experiences are what truly define the company's suitability for locals. It's a reminder that for local Texans, the decision to hire an HVAC contractor involves a careful balance of logistical convenience and professional integrity, with the latter often being the deciding factor.

For locals in the Texas region, especially those in the Dallas area, choosing an HVAC contractor is a significant decision. When considering A/C Rescue, Inc., potential customers should take into account the diverse range of experiences shared by previous clients. While the company is well-positioned to serve the area and is part of a network for home warranty holders, the specific details and serious allegations in the customer reviews are a crucial part of the public record. Accusations of technicians allegedly creating problems to charge for expensive, unnecessary repairs and reports of questionable diagnoses that contradict those of other companies are significant factors that a local homeowner would need to weigh. For a community that values honesty and integrity in its service providers, these concerns could be a major deterrent. The experiences shared by real customers suggest that while the company exists and is accessible, its suitability for locals is highly dependent on a customer's individual risk tolerance and their comfort level with the reported business practices. Ultimately, for Texans who prioritize transparent communication, honest service, and a company that builds trust, a thorough review of all available information is essential before making a choice.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Mike with AC Rescue came to my home 1pm sharp he said the thermostat was programmed wrong. He then said I’m just gonna check something else. He immediately said I needed new refrigerant and that would be $480 out of pocket because my warranty company only covered $10 dollars I said oh no I had another company come last year and I had the refrigerant filled I said yesterday when I went over the reviews this was my main concern the minute I said that he said I am going to turn off you AC and left!!!! He walked away and LEFT! I am on the phone with american home shield asking for them to investigate this fraud of a contractor also filing a formal complaint with the better business bureauHad a different company come out here and the company that came reset the thermostat because Mike from AC rescue had switched some cables to prevent my unit from turning on! I paid a TOTAL of $70 dollars NO REFRIGERANT was needed, I didn’t need a new thermostat. All I needed was an honest company with honest employees. I will not stop until this company is fully investigated by the better business bureau.I urge you reading this to take your business elsewhere. This company trains their employees to defraud people of their hard earned money.I would have been scammed $480 dollars today instead I paid $70.00 to an honest company. Honesty goes a long way
Jul 03, 2025 · Eve SkullsOn March 2025, I experienced issues with my air conditioning, I contacted my home warranty provider, American Home Shield (AHS), and they dispatched Shaun Tracy from AC Rescue. After a brief assessment, Shaun determined that the issue was a coil leak that predated my policy's effective date. I was skeptical of this diagnosis, given that my home inspector had been unable to evaluate the AC unit due to cold weather in late December before I bought this house in January. Shaun attempted to sell me a new AC unit, but I opted to wait for the home warranty company's determination. Surely they denied because whatever Shaun said to them. If you have home warranty, don’t use AC Rescue because they will not do anything. They will find anything to against your coverage and get home warranty to permanent denial for any AC repairs.Ultimately, another company technician diagnosed the issue as a minor part replacement and cleaning unit, which resolved the problem for under $200. The technician said there was no coil leaking. Given this experience, I would caution against using AC Rescue for homeowners with existing home warranty coverage. As of today, July 24, 2025, my old AC unit is still functioning properly, and I caution against using AC Rescue for homeowners with existing home warranty coverage.
Jul 24, 2025 · David GreathouseI cannot believe that I'm actually able to say that this company cares more than any other Home warranty company that I've ever dealt with. From Amanda who I believe may manage the office for the owner. These people are honest, transparent and will tell you the bad or the good news regarding your repair. The owner of this company is very involved and will actually treat you with respect and dignity even if you don't utilize their services. I highly recommend this company. And I can honestly say that I believe it is their intention to service each and every client with dignity and perform the service with professionalism in the hopes that all involved are satisfied. KUDOS to such a great company in an industry that is not trusted so much!
Jun 11, 2025 · Kyni HartwellAbsolutely Terrible Experience – Dishonest and Disrespectful CompanyAC Rescue was sent by my home warranty company and the experience was nothing short of a nightmare. They claimed my system needed 7 pounds of refrigerant, even though my system doesn’t even hold that much. When I asked about the discounted rate the warranty company guarantees, they refused to honor it and told me to take it up with the warranty provider. Zero accountability.I repeatedly asked for an invoice, and they claimed to be sending it to my property manager, who never received it. When I called to resolve the issue, the manager was openly hostile, dismissive, and flat-out rude. She refused to give her name or help me get a copy of my own invoice. They also tried to upsell me on non-covered “code compliance” upgrades, insisting it was the only way to bring my system up to code. I’ve since had two other reputable AC companies inspect the unit—both confirmed those upgrades were unnecessary and quoted a much lower price. When I asked AC Rescue for an itemized breakdown, they refused. I was able to get it through my warranty company and confirmed that their prices were significantly inflated.AC Rescue seems to be running a clear scam by padding estimates and pressuring customers to pay inflated prices when the warranty doesn’t cover everything. Their lack of transparency, poor communication, and unprofessional behavior are completely unacceptable.Do not use AC Rescue. Protect your time, money, and peace of mind!
Jun 27, 2025 · AFThey did work for me through AHS. I had routine maintenance on my system and the tech pointed out that there were a couple of things that they missed when the air handler was installed. He suggested I call them to see if they would come back out and do the right thing since they missed a couple of things. I emailed them-no response. I called them and the lady acted like she couldn't understand what I was explaining to her. She kept asking me the same thing and clarifying what I was saying as if she was stalling me. I told her that I had already answered the questions and then she said "I don't know why you're getting nasty with me. I'm going to have my manager call you when she gets off of the call she's on." That was 7/21. Tomorrow will 5 days and no call back. So hey, I thought they were decent but I guess I was wrong.
