The guy showed up, was nice and quick. However, each time he jiggled a few things and said "yeah, it's old." Then not even a few hours later, the heater failed and I had to call for service. If after three failures, there has to be another issue. They were more focused on the symptom and not the cause, and I lost confidence in their ability and desire to help, particularly as their path would endanger any future claims with my provider. They also lost any non-covered business and referrals I would give them via my network.We finally got someone else to come here & they found the issue -- the electrical panel was fried. And guess what? The heat works and the tech QA'd it all and I will ask my provider to assign them my account and use them for the mini-split I want to install. I don't recommend them if you want someone to actually solve the problem.

I had to call them back out a week later and they told me that they needed to order a couple parts and would call me when they came in. Its July 11th and no one has called, so I called. I've been told multiple times, "the part should be in today or tomorrow." The woman wasn't concerned that it was taking an excessive amount of time. I found out that they waited NINE DAYS to place the part order(after they came out the second time)! It has been 92° in my house the past month. The company has been paid and now I'm still waiting for them to finalize the task. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Its only noon and hasn't hit peak temps yet!
Jul 12, 2017 · Stitch BlueThe service man came out on May 16, 2022. He said it needed a part. I have called many times it has been 15 days now and they still have not even ordered the part. I called the warranty company 2-10 and they have not been contacted for approval. I have COPD and Asthma and need air-conditioning to help me breath. It is disappointing that the job has not been completed but very frustrating that they don't call to keep me informed. Customer service is very poor. Heating problem with this unit 3 months ago. Paid my 185.OO co pay. It took them 5 days to call me back after the service call. When a different repairman came from same company he said the diagnosis was wrong from the previous man he did stay and fix it. Now 3 months later and another 185. Dollar co- pay and they are leaving me without AC. I can't help but wonder if in 3 months something else will go bad and on the unit instead of replacing it now it is an older unit charge another 185.00 dollars and then not hear from them again. I see in the past a few lucky people were treated the way customers should be treated with respect. It has now been 3 weeks and they have not sent the parts that our needed for approval by with 2-10 home Insurance. Very poor Service

He checked my thermostat settings, the circuit breaker and return vents. What I noticed about Brandon was that he referred to my system/problems as "our" each time he spoke and I felt that he was passionate about his job and how thorough he was. My outside unit was the source of this problem. As he conducted his diagnosis, Brandon took the time to tell me what he was checking for and why. In short he repaired my system checked everything over and departed with a handshake.Overall, I had a great experience - "First impressions last the longest" - Service Mechanical Of Tidewater should be proud to have this young man representing their company.That night the unit failed to restart, so I called in the issue. A second service tech arrived before noon. He was equally as professional. He asked what the issue was and immediately found the problem. He replaced the outside fan motor and within about 30 minutes was on his way.I see the one star ratings and can't wrap my mind around others experience, but mine is far from a one star rating.Yes this company was sent via AHS warranty and I am very satisfied with the professional employees and their work.
Jul 21, 2018 · Jesse G.I'll start by saying that i was set up with them though AHS because my furnace is blowing out cold air.I was informed that because of my location they can only provide me service from 7-11. After I explained that both my wife and I work 9-5 jobs and that those times don't work for me I was informed that while they could offer me another date they could only offer me those times because the of the drivers route. Thankfully because of the holiday I was able to havre them to my house.The technician did in fact show up on time and was very nice. My problem is he showed up, looked at my equipment, told me he would need to get a test authorized and would need to make another appointment.After calling the company multiple times and finally getting though to someone, they tell they will get the work order and call me back. 9 hours later I finally get a call back and I'm told he will have to come out to do a leak test. Irritated, I asked why it wasn't performed at my appointment today and I was told because it was a service request and that the test isn't authorized for a service request. Yet again they offer me 7-11.I pulled a Karen and asked to speak to a supervisor because at this point I had an attitude, and so did the representative. The rep proceeds to tell me they are the supervisor and also the owner and there was nothing else they could offer me because of the drivers routes.I would steer clear of this company at all costs. The only plus to them was that their tech actually showed up on time.
