This company sold my 74-year-old mother, who has dementia, a new unit for $11,700 instead of repairing her existing one, a fix that would have cost approximately $1,300 in parts. The workmanship was careless. The installation was never inspected, no 6-month or 1-year maintenance was provided as promised, and the warranty, despite being paid for, was never registered. Even more concerning is the company’s track record: it has changed ownership six times in the past three years. This lack of stability appears to be reflected in their customer service and accountability. When I reached out to address my concerns, management showed no compassion or willingness to resolve the matter. I was told they had done what they were contracted to do, and I was accused of "just trying to get something for free," which is entirely false. I never asked for anything to be refunded or replaced, only that the work be properly inspected to ensure it meets code. The manager refused to commit to even that basic level of follow-up, repeatedly stating only that he would "have to look into it." I plan to contact the Fox 5 Call for Action team to investigate this business further and bring attention to how they treat customers. Proceed with caution. Aug 07, 2025 · AprilMy experience with them was wonderful! My A/C quit working and Jordan was the first to come out. He was awesome and explained everything so great. My unit was a dinosaur and on its last leg so we scheduled a free estimate the next day. Trevor came out and was amazing! He gave me all of my options and explained the difference between them in detail. The process was so smooth and I am set to get a new unit next week. They are some of the nicest, most down to earth people I have ever dealt with and very timely. I will definitely be recommending them to anyone that needs HVAC work done!
Jul 12, 2025 · Kim PyeHave had a very hard time working with this company. I moved into a new home last March when I called Haynes to service check the AC for the coming hot season. When the Tech arrived, he told me he didn't need to check the AC because it was on the same system as the heating. When I tried to turn on the AC a few weeks later, it was completely inoperable and would not even start past a few seconds of spinning up to just shut off again. I called Haynes back to explain what happen when they said I would have to pay for another tech to come out, even though the first tech did not do what was asked of them. After some discussion and more explanation about what the tech did, and more importantly, didn't do while here, they agreed I should not pay for the second visit.During the second visit, the tech pointed out why the unit was not working quickly because the fan in the unit had broken two of the mounting brackets. The tech went through their sales pitch and give me prices for three units. I was worried about having to large of a monthly payment, so I asked if the longest loan option was available for the middle priced package the same as the highest price one because it was not showing as an option on the package I was looking for. He claimed it was, but he would have to go back to the office to get that offer sent over. I asked what the monthly payment would be and he said to take the price and divide it by the number of months. This was very misleading because this did not take into account interest (which adds another 1/3 to the cost if the full length of the loan was taken). When the contract was sent to me to sign it was for the plan he showed me and not for the time period they had claimed it would be for. I decided not to take the loan because I did not trust signing a contract for one thing when the Tech/Salesman told me another. Instead I went ahead and got a loan from the bank who gave me a contract that said what they had told me.In the first week of July, they called me to set up a complimentary service for the mistakes they had made. I had set it up for Wednesday the 16th between 8AM - 12PM. I received a call from the Tech at 11:51AM telling me they would be there in 45 minutes. I told them that wouldn't work because I had made plans for the afternoon since they claimed they would be their in the morning. They rescheduled for Wednesday the the 23rd between 8AM - 12PM, telling me I would be the first appointment of the day to make sure it was done in the morning like they claimed the first appointment would be. I got a call at 10AM on Monday the 21st to be told they would be moving me to the 12PM - 4PM time slot. Again, that would not work for me since I made plans with family for that afternoon based on the fact Haynes guaranteed I would be the first appointment of the day on the 23rd. They have now moved my appointment back another week.I could understand any of these things happening, but to have all of these things happen I can't say I have trust in Haynes.

I am the owner of a small business, and had contracted with Haynes to provide maintenance on our rooftop units. One of our units quit on us last summer, and we had quite a difficult time with them getting a new unit installed. After several mishaps and runarounds, they got us up and running for a grand total of $16,000+, which we paid in full upon completion.Imagine my shock last week, when I was reviewing our bank account and saw that on 7/11/25, Haynes charged $4,500 to our card! Over a year since we paid them in full, last year.I've now called them three times to get this rectified, and keep getting told they'll have the "finance" person to call me back, which she has not. We never financed anything with them; we paid in full, immediately last year. When I ask for the manager, I'm told he's out of the office. When I ask to speak to anyone else who might be able to help me, I'm told that everyone in the office just stepped into a meeting.The technicians that installed our unit last year were great, and very kind and apologetic for the ridiculous difficulties Haynes put us through at that time.

Very patient and detailed in his approach, he even stayed to ensure the corrective measures I tried were working as intended. Very happy with his work and his team that helped free him up to help fix our AC on a hot August day!
