Fritts Heating and Air recently replaced the AC unit in our Cape Cod style house. They had to be contortionists to get into the tiny space it was tucked into upstairs in the attic. They removed the ancient unit and replaced it with a beautiful new unit that is much more efficient. It was broiling hot in that attic, but they went about this tough job with smiles on their faces. So professional! We trust that they will never try to upsell us, but will get any issues solved as efficiently and economically as possible.We are very satisfied with their work and would definitely use them again.

I think it's important to share my experience with Fritts Heating and Air Conditioning today. Before July 4th we had a problem with the upstairs unit staying cool, and going over 80 degrees. From past experience I already knew some of the possible issues. It took several visits and the owner to come out twice and troubleshoot. The owner tells me he's not sure what it could be. We get mixed messages about what is causing the problem. Finally, the owner tells us the compressor is bad. We decide to get a new unit and the price was good. Today (just a few weeks after they put the new unit in) the upstairs starts having the same exact problems and symptoms as it did before we spent over $3K on a new unit. We call them and they send another tech today. I briefly tell him the problem is the same problem we have had all along. The guy quickly discovers the problem, which had to be obvious the whole time. We get a call from the lady at their office and my wife speaks with her. We believe she is the wife of the owner. My wife asked questions as any customer should, how this relates to the issues we were already having and we spent thousands on a new unit just weeks ago. The lady was unprofessional and condescending, and clearly irritated. She said the owner will call back and hung up. When the owner called back, I responded. I explained that we are having the same problem as before, and that lit a fire with the owner. His tone goes unprofessional, condescending, and angry. His wife can be heard jumping into the conversation and shouting over him. They berate me, then ask me if I'm an expert in A/C. I begin to ask if they are seriously going to treat a customer like this just for asking questions, and they continue to yell and berate me. I tell them that if this is how they treat customers I would leave reviews to let everyone know. They say for me to "do what I gotta do," so hence this review is to warn anyone that this is the way they treat their customers for simply asking question when you're spending thousands on service. This is one of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I can count on one hand how times I have left a review. But this was so over the top. Whether I am right or wrong about the issue with the unit, this was a terrible way to handle a customer. Now, I have to pay more money to have someone else fix this issue
