Had landlord make contact with Dandridge to repair heating unit Saturday before lunch. Was told he would be here first thing in the morning. 10:30 came around and it was too cold for my babies to be in the house without heat, so we left the house AFTER letting the landlord know we would be leaving and even waited for him to call and tell us the status of Dandridge’s arrival; then we left at 11:30. At 11:51 I was told he would be there “today but no specific time”. My response was that I needed a time because the house was too cold for my children to be in (also, we are all already sick).12:13 I get a call that he’s at a business in cottageville and I told them okay I would be back by 1:15. I return home and even texted the landlord when I arrived to inform him (as a reminder) that I was home. I was then told at 1:29 that he was coming back and to let them know when he arrived.3:17 still nothing: called Dandridge myself and he was VERY rude from the start. I tried explaining to him that I did inform them before I left and he said no I was there you weren’t and I ain’t coming back. Claims he was here at 12:00 , yet landlord claims he was at his establishment at that time and informed Dandridge that I would not be home.Very poor attitude and his business is less than two blocks away from our house and he refused to come back. I could’ve walked to his establishment within the 3 minutes we were on the phone BEFORE he said , call me Monday and I’ll come back then. MONDAY..... after the coldest weekend of the month with 3 babies and no heat. Great customer service, sarcasm intended.Moral of the story : He is a rude grouch that is obviously too lazy to make his own living and wants to blame it on others, do not use this man. I’d hate to see his work based on how he handles himself.
