Had a great experience with Carolina Comfort Heating & Air. Owen was the tech who came out, and he did an outstanding job. He really listened when I explained the issues we were having, asked the right questions to narrow it down, and worked diligently to get everything taken care of. He explained what he was doing along the way, which I really appreciated. Very professional and you can tell he takes pride in his work. Definitely top-notch service and a great reflection of the standards Carolina Comfort is known for. Highly recommend!

Edit for Carolina Comforts response: It will cool just fine now that you finally put the correct amount of refrigerant back in from what was lost during the first repair. It easily gets to 68 degrees.Make sure you look at the newest reviews before using this company.I’ve waited 4 years to leave this review because it has taken Carolina Comfort Heating and Air that long to fix our heat pump that they installed. Hopefully the unit is actually fixed this time. It was installed in June of 2021. I had to schedule a service call within a year(2022)for poor performance. The technician said the refrigerant was low but he thought the unit shipped with low refrigerant and didn’t think it was leaking and did not test for leaks. He added more refrigerant. The next summer(2023) it was not cooling again so they came back out. It had been leaking refrigerant since the installation so they fixed the leaks and added more refrigerant. The next summer (2024) they had to come out again because it still wasn’t cooling good. The technician said it looked like it had enough refrigerant and nothing was wrong, but I talked him in to turning up the blower. It still didn’t work great but it was better. Today(summer of 2025) and it’s not cooling again. I had them come back out. It was low on refrigerant again but I’m told he doesn’t think it’s leaking. He thinks it didn’t have enough refrigerant put back in when the leak was fixed. This service call came with a $400 charge because it’s the fourth time they have come out. I told him they would not have had to come out four times if it would have been installed correctly to begin with. He said that the manager told him to charge that much because it had been 4 years. It seems to me that they waited until the warranty was expired to fix the problem.

Michael from Carolina Comfort did excellent job. Removed old equipment under warranty and replaced with new. Highly recommend. Michael is installed a new Honeywell DR65 dehumidifier, third dehumidifier in four years. Michael did an excellent job to insure that dehumidifier was resting comfortably in its housing to lessen the noise to the upper floor. Dehumidifier is in our crawl space. Great work above and beyond. Thank you William and Linda Burgess

Ben arrived on time, was very professional and courteous. He was also able to diagnose the problem right away by flushing the drain pipe, installing a petcock valve and removing a half of pound of freon which instantly reduced the air flow temperature 11 degrees at the vent. It was the first time I’ve used this company and they have earned my loyalty moving forward.
