Bruno Total Home Performance Introduce
In the unique and demanding climate of Southwest Florida, maintaining the comfort, safety, and efficiency of your home requires a high level of expertise. For residents and business owners, finding a reliable partner for these critical systems is a top priority. Bruno Total Home Performance has established itself as a leading name in this arena. While they are primarily known as an air conditioning contractor, their services extend far beyond traditional HVAC work, encompassing a wide range of essential home systems. They act as a general contractor for total home performance, offering a single point of contact for everything from air quality and plumbing to electrical and home automation. This comprehensive approach is a significant benefit to Florida residents, simplifying what can often be a complex and stressful process of home maintenance and repair.
The company’s philosophy is to provide a "total home performance" solution. This means they don't just fix a single problem; they look at how all the systems in your home work together to ensure maximum efficiency, comfort, and safety. This holistic view is a key differentiator in the market. Instead of calling multiple companies for different issues—one for a leaky faucet, another for an AC problem, and a third for an electrical repair—you can rely on one team of experts. This streamlined service saves you time, money, and the hassle of coordinating various appointments. Bruno Total Home Performance is committed to offering a wide spectrum of services that address the entire home, from the air you breathe to the water you use, and the electricity that powers your life.
Customer reviews consistently highlight the professionalism and courteous nature of the company’s staff, from the scheduling department to the service technicians. One customer noted that the service people are "always kind and courteous," a crucial factor in any home service experience. Another review praised a technician, Peter, for his professionalism, knowledge, and ethical approach. Peter's ability to accurately diagnose a complex issue—an AC drain leak and a power surge—without resorting to unnecessary and expensive solutions proposed by other companies, speaks volumes about the integrity and expertise of the team. This kind of honest and straightforward service builds immense trust within the community, making customers feel confident in their choice. The fact that the company has a veteran on its staff, as noted by the customer, further reinforces a sense of respect and dependability.
While some customers have mentioned a desire for more direct access to owners for major issues, the company's structure with multiple supervisors and a large staff is indicative of a significant operation capable of handling a high volume of requests. For many, the consistent kindness of the scheduling and service teams is enough to ensure a positive experience. The company’s commitment to customer service and their extensive range of offerings make them a valuable resource for Floridians dealing with the unique demands of the local climate. From the extreme heat that requires efficient AC systems to the storm season that can lead to power surges and plumbing issues, Bruno Total Home Performance is equipped to handle it all, providing a much-needed sense of security to homeowners.
The company’s service list is a testament to their comprehensive approach. They handle everything from basic AC repair and air filtration to complex plumbing and electrical work. Their expertise in areas like slab leak detection and repair, video pipe inspection, and water treatment systems showcases their ability to handle both common and specialized issues. They also offer solutions for modern home systems, including automation, security, and advanced water heaters. This wide range of capabilities positions them not just as a contractor, but as a total home performance consultant, helping homeowners improve the overall function, safety, and efficiency of their living spaces. Their reputation for transparency and expertise, particularly in an industry where customers can be leery, makes them a trusted name in the Florida market.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Bruno Total is a pretty decent company. I've had them out for air conditioning and plumbing. There's no shortage of help.Their service people are always kind and courteous, and their scheduling department team is always courteous too.The only thing is that if you have something major, you can't get to the owner, only supervisors, and they have way too many of them. It would be nice to deal with the same supervisor to make certain the issues are resolved.
Dec 18, 2018 · Colleen CatapanoExcellent service by Peter. I am a tough customer and usually are very leery of air condition companies. Peter was very professional and knew his stuff. Most importantly, did not try and rip us off. He identified the problem, actually several - we just came in from up North, and discovered a leak from the condensation drain from the air exchange, and our power surge had blow out. Previously, other companies had tried to sell us 3000 dollar UV systems to stop mold growth. We signed up for their total home package and got a great deal that included a new UV system and new surge protector. We really liked Peter's professional, friendly demeanor and only want him to service our air conditioner needs. Bruno is lucky to have such a great employee - he is a model employee. Also a Vet - Peter we forgot to thank you for your sacrifice - we should never forgot our Veterans and all they have done for our country.
Nov 07, 2018 · John GraydonI have been a customer of Bruno’s Air Conditioning for many years. Two years ago, they installed a new system. Today, was a maintenance review as well as a repair to the pool heater control panel. The technician, Doug was personable, polite, clean, attentive, and technically adept. His work was reviewed and approved by Tony B. Both gentlemen were a pleasure to deal with and I would not hesitate to recommend them.
Feb 13, 2019 · Georgeann GeorgesSigned contract for some pretty extensive work on my AC system. We had bought a new, larger unit about two years ago from another company but they failed to tell us we needed to increase the size of our duct work. This resulted in cold air staying in the air handler causing the exterior of the unit to have condensation dripping into and rusting out the overflow pan in only two years. When the condensate line plugged and the pan filled, it leaked onto our ceiling. Called Bruno and they came out the next day, cleared the blockage but the tech showed me the condition of the pan and said it appeared the duct work was not sized properly. He called his supervisor who came out and walked me through the problem and recommended fix. The next day two people came out to affect repairs, The job got off to a rough start because the men did not know and had not been informed of the scope of work we had agreed to. I showed them the contract which listed all the items to be done and the lead tech really had no idea. He called his office and we did too. Mr. Bruno called us back and promised the other equipment needed would be brought out. The techs went to work and were very professional and did a great job. Later in the day someone dropped off the insulation needed to redo the inside of the air handler since the old insulation was soaked and this was a key component needed to be done to fix the overall problem. By the time they left the unit was up and running much quieter than before, the lead tech explained the new plenums and ducts were no longer causing a back pressure in the system. The sealing of the ducts not replaced due to not being easily accessible with a polymer showed that many leaks in the ducts between the floor had been sealed All in all the men were great, very professional and working virtually non stop in a very hot attic. The work order is still not complete they never got the UV bulbs for the interior of the air handler or the whole system filter housing and filters but the bulk of the work is done and done well. Hopefully Bruno will send these people back to finish the install soon. I recommend a better pre job brief of work scope prior to dispatching the people to a job site The two techs should not have been sent to my home so unprepared, however their professionalism and hard work saved the day. Mr. Bruno, the original tech who came out, his supervisor and the two people who did the work on day two were great. However you need to look at the work order flow prior to dispatching people to the job site. Your technicians and customers deserve better from the folks in the office.
Aug 08, 2018 · richard beckGenerally speaking, we’ve been very happy with the A/C service we’ve received from Bruno. Our only issue is that the experience we get is different on each appointment. One time the tech is pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. The next time, they are fine, but not friendly and seem to be in and out as fast as they can. The next time we get a tech that fancies themselves a salesperson and we get offered lots of very expensive repairs (that after learning more are not required to keep our unit going). None of the techs seem to look at our service history before arriving at our home. Again, no real complaints with the actual work they’ve done. Just a little more consistency would be great.
