We bought a newly constructed home (completed in February 2024) in Mt. Juliet, TN. The heat has not worked since the first time we turned it on around October 2024 (we closed in August 2024 and moved in in October 2024).Despite calling Bradley Heating & Air (the company the builder used for installation and recommended for maintenance) near daily and having technicians to the house at least weekly, the problem persists.They first said it was a malfunctioning circuit. They said they would order the part and install it. About a week later we had not heard anything and the heat still did not work so I call. They inform me the new part had been installed about five days prior. Evidently installation did not require indoor access with everything being done from outside the house so the technician never called nor rang the doorbell (my boyfriend works from home and we confirmed he was there that day). The company never called either to inform us of this installation nor check to see how the unit was functioning. We called because it still didn't work. It seems logical that you would test the new part to see if it was working and let the homeowner know you had done work.So, another technician came out saying it was that connection and another new part was ordered. Same situation as above. A technician stopped by and installed the new part without either the installing technician nor company informing us of what had been done. I called the company again to tell them the heat still didn't work. I found out then the second new part had been installed.Since then, I've been calling the company and technicians have been sent out. After every call and every visit, the exact same problem persists. Now, however, we have no heat or air conditioning (before the air conditioning at least worked) and the "emergency heat" the company recommends turning on does not work either.We were told by one technician that he did not want to order new thermostats as "we [the company] eat those costs." The lady at the company I spoke to asked if this was said to me or put in a text. I said told to me. She said either that was not what was said or I misunderstood because that is not the case. Well, that is what the technician said. So I bought new thermostats to be installed. I ate the cost of them, one for Bradley Heating & Air.Now when I call the company the people who answer the phone say, "All we can do is try" to fix the unit. Then I am accused of "putting words in her [the person answering the phone] mouth" when I said, "So you are going to try but you may not be able to fix the unit?" The lady gets worked up and repeatedly states I am putting words in her mouth when she says all she can do is try. I'm not saying you aren't trying, I'm just asking that it is possible you may not fix this.So, here we are, well over a month into weekly if not daily calls with the exact same problem as before without any progress being made. The weather this weekend is a winter storm with temperatures in the 20s and lower. We are bundled up in the house with hats, mittens, extra clothes, and blankets. Bradley Heating & Air will "try to fix it" while we may need to get a hotel or a public warming place. At least we can afford that where others can't.I have expressed frustration. The unit, and house for that matter, is under warranty. It seems Bradley Heating & Air has no idea what is going on and are not in any hurry to figure it out since they are "providing service" by sending technicians every time we call to "try" and fix it without results.Having to wait a day for technicians with no heat during winter stinks, but Bradley Heating & Air maintain they are doing everything by sending technicians out even though the exact same problem has not changed at all.Maybe the unit should be replaced? I am not a heating/cooling service person, but since the company would "eat the cost" of thermostats that we ended up buying at our own expense, who knows what they will do? I fear they will drag this out until it is no longer under warranty and we'll be out of luck.

Our heater quit responding to our thermostat when it was 30 degrees outside. We called Bradley’s and that same afternoon they had someone out. David fixed us right up and was explained what was going on! A very easy and pleasurable experience all around.
