David was in and out within hour.Unfortunately, not sure if the broken fan motor was missed when replacing the initial reason for the visit. Turned unit on and off, and didn’t hear it running.When calling Cody out he ran testing and determined the fan motor was nearly locked up and not receiving power. A replacement is needed and additional cost added after originally believing the issue was resolved.Both guys were great and friendly, but I just wish a more thorough inspection and confirmation would have been completed before leaving.

I was looking at Barker's website and it said they had a number of the 2024 model HVAC units and you could save 30% on one before the new more expensive models containing the new mandated refrigerant goes into affect on 3/1. I called and made an appointment to get an estimate for a new HVAC system and mentioned there website deal which quote a 3.5 ton unit for $7687.00. Miguel came out on Thursday 3/20 and quote a new system with the new mandated refrigerant at $14,867.00. When I asked about the 2024 models quoted on their website, Miguel said he was not familiar with that and had to get with his GM. After he left, I text the pictures of their website to him. He called me Friday and said he would get with his GM. He called later that day and said his GM was gone for the day and would get with him on Monday. It is now Wednesday and I have not heard from them .Unfortunately this seems to be a bait and switch. When Mr. Barker owned the company, they didn't operate this way. Very disappointed.

Mike was SUPERB! He came in, diagnosed our situation and immediately went to work after getting our approval. In the process of completing our job, we asked about other concerns identified by our HVAC inspection report we had completed when we recently purchased our home. Mike explained the ramifications for not having the work done in terms I understood. We never felt pressure to have anything done we weren’t comfortable with.I also must say, although Mike is a young technician, he handled himself like a seasoned pro! We will definitely be calling on Barker again for our future needs and will keep our fingers crossed that Mike is the tech that shows up to do our job! THANKS MIKE!
