★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Absolutely unacceptable and possibly fraudulent. This company was dispatched by American Home Shield and came to my home on July 3, 2025 to inspect my AC unit. The technician claimed I needed a new PVC drain line, had me sign paperwork, and left without telling me he had shut off my AC. When we returned home and tried to turn it back on, water began gushing from the ceiling, causing additional damage to my home.I attempted to contact the company multiple times—no answer, no follow-up. Because they never updated the service ticket, AHS couldn’t send anyone else, leaving my family—including my asthmatic child—without AC from July 3 to July 7 during extreme heat.To make matters worse, when they finally updated the ticket, they falsely reported their arrival date as July 6 instead of the actual date, July 3, clearly trying to avoid violating AHS's 24-hour policy. This deliberate misrepresentation makes me believe this company is operating fraudulently. Now I’m being billed $421 for repairs to a system that was working fine and NOT leaking before their visit. The lack of transparency, dishonesty, and disregard for customer well-being is appalling.Do not trust this company with your home. AVOID at all costs.

Jul 07, 2025 · Christine Gomez❌ I will never do business with Air Technical again. My HVAC wasn’t cooling properly, so my home warranty assigned Air Technical to assess the issue. Initially, they diagnosed a damper motor failure due to normal wear and tear—a repair that should have been covered. However, once the claim was submitted, they changed their diagnosis to suggest the damage wasn’t wear-related, causing the warranty company to deny the claim. Air Technical then attempted to blame the warranty provider, despite the fact that coverage is based entirely on the contractor’s submitted diagnosis.Things only got worse: both the technician (Nate) and manager Josh gave contradictory explanations, and the assistant Barbi interrupted our conversation to aggressively deflect blame before ultimately hanging up on me when I politely asked her to lower her tone. I strongly suspect they were hoping I’d pay them directly rather than go through the warranty.Thankfully, I contacted a different HVAC company who came out the very next day. They confirmed that both damper motors had failed due to normal wear and tear, and they completed my repair quickly and professionally. They also affirmed that warranty decisions rest solely on what the contractor submits—completely contradicting Air Technical’s claims.I’ve lost all trust and respect for Air Technical. If you value clear communication, honest diagnostics, and respectful service, I highly recommend you steer clear of this company.

Jul 07, 2025 · Dee BroI'm under a home warranty. I get my hvac serviced every year. All of a sudden I go turn my air on in May and my house was cool for a couple of hours. I come home and my house is a sauna. This company tells my home warranty that my compressor is not pumping but not from mechanical breakdown. I have had this unit for 8 years and it stops working. He then tells themI have weeds growing in my coils. I had a water leak i was unaware of. The grass was high on that side of house. I don't have the best yard but it was obvious that I had a leak. He tells me I need a new unit and then tells home warranty something else. I'm getting a second opinion.

Jun 26, 2025 · Yolanda HillThis company is fantastic. Josh was here fast and was very knowledgeable. He explained what he was doing and was able to fix the problem in no time. Ignore the bad reviews, they are from a home warrenty company that is hit or miss. It’s the same warrenty I use. If I was to hire a company outside of them. This would be my go to!
