Aairco Air Conditioning & Elec Introduce
When it comes to the comfort and safety of your home, especially with Texas’s often unpredictable weather, having a reliable heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system is non-negotiable. For many homeowners in the Granbury area, finding a trustworthy general contractor to handle these essential services is a top priority. This article provides an in-depth look at Aairco Air Conditioning & Elec, a local business located in Granbury, Texas. We will examine their services, location, and, most importantly, the experiences shared by local residents to give you a comprehensive picture of what to expect.
Aairco Air Conditioning & Elec has been a part of the Granbury community, serving local residents with their HVAC needs. The business is known for offering a range of services aimed at keeping homes comfortable year-round. However, the true measure of a company often lies in the feedback from its customers. By reviewing firsthand accounts, prospective clients can gain valuable insights into the company’s operational practices, customer service, and the quality of their work. This perspective is crucial for anyone looking to hire a general contractor for a project as important as their home’s heating and cooling system.
The importance of a well-functioning HVAC system in Texas cannot be overstated. The intense summer heat puts a significant strain on air conditioning units, while a reliable heating system is essential for the cooler months. Because of these demands, homeowners require a contractor who is not only skilled in their trade but also responsive and reliable. The experiences of customers provide a window into how a company handles its responsibilities, from the initial contact to the completion of the job. These testimonials, both positive and negative, help paint a clear picture of the company's commitment to its clients and its professional standards.
Customer reviews are a powerful tool for making informed decisions. One local resident, for instance, shared a detailed account of their attempts to get in touch with the company for a service call on one of their three installed units. The experience described a prolonged period of unreturned phone calls and difficulty getting a response. The customer noted a visit to the office where they were met with a friendly staff member, but the underlying issue of lack of communication and follow-up persisted. The inability to locate customer files and the subsequent lack of contact over several days were significant points of frustration. The customer ultimately had to seek help from another company to get the issue resolved. This experience highlights potential challenges with communication and record-keeping.
Another account, rated with the lowest possible star rating, detailed an even more concerning situation. This customer had purchased a property where Aairco had already installed the furnace and rough-in ductwork. Despite the completion of the project being part of the sales agreement and the remaining unit reportedly sitting in the company's yard, the customer was unable to get the work completed. After months of persistent calling without a single returned message, they were forced to hire a different company to finish the job. This new company not only had to complete the installation but also had to correct significant issues with the initial ductwork, which was found to be incorrectly installed and unable to provide proper airflow. This account points to serious issues with project management, communication, and the quality of the initial work performed. The customer’s recommendation was a strong warning to others to avoid using the company to save money and frustration.
These customer experiences provide a crucial reality check for anyone considering Aairco Air Conditioning & Elec for their next project. While a professional and friendly demeanor from an office staff member is a positive point, it does not compensate for a lack of follow-through, poor communication, and what appears to be a systemic issue with project completion. For local Texans, who depend on their contractors to be reliable and skilled, these reviews raise significant concerns about the company’s ability to meet those expectations. The stories underscore the importance of choosing a contractor with a proven track record of dependability and quality workmanship, as a poor choice can lead to significant delays, added costs, and ongoing frustration.
The frustration expressed by these customers is palpable. It reflects a fundamental expectation that a business, especially one that has been paid for a service, will honor its commitments. When a company fails to return calls for weeks on end, loses important project files, or leaves a job unfinished and poorly done, it erodes trust in the local business community. These issues are particularly problematic in the HVAC industry, where a malfunctioning system can lead to discomfort, potential health risks from extreme temperatures, and damage to property. The need for a quick and reliable response is paramount, and these reviews suggest that Aairco may not consistently meet that need.
Furthermore, the second review highlights a critical concern about the quality of the work itself. Discovering that a project you have already paid for was done incorrectly, requiring additional expenses to fix, is a major problem. It suggests that potential clients should not only be concerned about communication and timeliness but also about the integrity and quality of the technical work. The importance of hiring a contractor who guarantees their work and stands behind their installations is a lesson many Texans learn the hard way.
In conclusion, while Aairco Air Conditioning & Elec is a local business in Granbury, potential customers should take the shared experiences of their neighbors into careful consideration. The reviews highlight persistent issues with communication, follow-up, and project completion, as well as concerns about the quality of the work. For a community that relies on its local businesses for essential services, these factors are critical to making an informed decision.

Conclusion: Why this place is suitable for locals
Based on the available customer feedback, Aairco Air Conditioning & Elec may not be the most suitable choice for locals in search of a reliable and responsive general contractor. The recurring themes of poor communication, unreturned calls, unfinished work, and concerns about the quality of installations raise significant red flags. Texans value trust and dependability in their service providers, and these reviews suggest that the company has struggled to meet those expectations. While they may offer a range of services, the documented customer experiences indicate that hiring them could lead to significant frustration, delays, and additional costs. It is highly recommended that Granbury residents consider these factors and explore other options to ensure their HVAC needs are met with professionalism and quality workmanship.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This is posted for a neighbor that doesn't have Google... "An item that we all take for granted till we have a problem, Heat and A/C, then it becomes a must.I recently tried to contact the company. AAIRCO [in Granbury], that installed my 3 units new and here is what happened to me, your experience may be different.Starting on 09-27 I called Mike. I called almost daily till 10/03 without ever getting a return call just voice mail. On 10/03 I drove into Granbury to their office and talked to Sandy [lady at office]. She was super nice, but not much help. 1st I got the speech that Mike cell is broken. A week without a telephone or not even forwarding his cell to the office [carrier could have forwarded it] is not really good business practice but explains why I got VM for a week. She could NOT FIND my files on my THREE-unit installation. She was going to keep looking, but as of today, the 12th [9 days], I have heard nothing. Guess my file will be lost forever. Again, she was nice and took my information and would give it to Bobby who actually did the installation. On the 7th, 4 days later, I again heard nothing from AAIRCO, so I called to see why not. ??? Well to close this out - on Thursday I called another Babiash A/C and by Friday, the very next day, it was addressed and fixed.I am sure AAIRCO has reasons for not getting back to a customer on one of their 3 installed units from 09/27 to 10-10, 13 days, but as a customer, I cannot think of one acceptable excuse.Just my experience, might even have good experiences from others."
Oct 14, 2024 · brandon jablonowskiI rated this with one star only because there is no option to rate it lower. We bought a property that was under construction and furnace and rough in duct work had been installed by Aairco. The a/c unit and completion was part of the sales agreement and my understanding is sitting in their yard waiting to be installed. I began calling them in early December, now it is April I was to the point of calling weekly. Not only can we not get them out to compete the work they have already been paid for, I can’t even get a return call, only “I’ll leave him another message, he’s out today, we’re really busy”Finally last week we gave up and hired another company to complete the project. Big surprise, not only do they not come back, return calls, finish what they’ve been payed for…… much of the duct work is not correct and will provide no air to the edges of the residence. Now paying to correct their work as well.Long story short save your money and frustration don’t use them. I would not recommend Aairco to even put a window unit in a dog house

Apr 06, 2023 · Jereme BarnettTold my husband for a few weeks that we needed to have our unit serviced. He seemed to feel like it did not and it was cooling just fine. I went ahead and called AAirco to have them come out and take a look. The nicest guy Eric came, checked everything thoroughly and stated that it was a good thing we called because our capacitor needed to be replaced and the unit needed to be charged. He was very professional, nice and explained everything in detail. Charged such a fair price also. Thank you so much Aairco, life long customer, will be referring them to all my friends and family.

May 12, 2022 · Lori SmithWe are building a home without a mortgage so we’re building as we save money. We hired Aairco to do our AC/Heating. They initially installed our duct work and furnace (didn’t hook it up) as requested and knew it would be a few months before we would be ready for the AC unit to be installed. We called when it was time to install the AC and hook up the furnace, they said they would be out the following week... they never showed. Called again a week later, same thing said they would be here the following week and no show again. Finally came out and hooked up the furnace since we moved into the home and it was cold (October time frame). Said they would be back soon to install the AC units. My husband called on a regular basis asking when they would be out to install AC but never got a time frame. About January my husband started going to the office almost weekly asking them to please install our AC unit. First week of May I finally went to the office and threatened them with an attorney and they came out and at least installed the AC units we had paid for. BUT the installers said someone else would have to come out to service the unit and add more freon (I think that’s what he said). Guess what... still not serviced and haven’t finished the other minor things we have already paid for. So we have hired a new AC company to finish the job. Very disappointed in Aairco. We were more than patient.
Jun 08, 2020 · Holly TaylorSince the day Aairco got paid in full it has been like pulling your own eye teeth for them to come back and finish the job. Got stood up many times setting here waiting for them to show up. David the owner says he will call but never calls. Had some air filter changed out and was charged an $89.00 fee for diagnosis fee. Was told David would call but no call. Finally heard from lady via way email and note from owner telling me never to call his business again. Would not recommend doing business with this company under any circumstances. Buyer beware!
