Job went great, fixed it right up, blessed AC returned. One week later the AC stopped working again, turned out they didn't properly seal the HVAC and the casing popped open, started condensing water all over our attic. We bought a dehumidifier to clear the moisture up and they sent Christian out to look at it. He's great, by the way, seems very honest, told us the previous crew did a very poor job sealing it. He spent 4 hours re-sealing the whole thing (longer than the replacement had taken) and did a great job, no issue since.Second time we used them our AC unit failed, also on a weekend. Failure occurred 2 days after they installed a 'soft start' on the unit. Christian was sent out (seems to be the guy that works weekends) and told us the capacitor the soft-start was hooked up to wasn't providing enough juice to the fan motor so the motor burnt out. Company boss says the two aren't related (them installing the soft start then the AC breaking 2 days later), seems a bit crazy coincidental to me. Regardless, fine, chalk it up to bad luck. Christian doesn't have the capacitor we need on the truck so he leaves us with a fancy modular one they keep on the truck for testing, says he'll have someone scheduled to come out and bring us the one we need so we don't get charged for their 'used' and 'expensive' modular testing capacitor.Three days later we get a bill for the weekend work and it includes the 150+$ modular capacitor. I call the owner about it and am lead on about a 10-minute hee-haw conversation about why I should be happy with a used capacitor that their employee already explained to me isn't what I should be using and isn't new... Was literally told that it was their policy to just leave the 'test' capacitor with the client if they didn't have the specific one needed on the truck at the time (which... considering it's replacing a broken part with a 'used' part which is a much more expensive part seems rather insane).A week later, Christian is sent back out to pick up the test capacitor. Well, the bill comes back again and it's about the same price despite having an 80$ cheaper capacitor on it (and they use the cheap Chinese brand too, or at least they did with us) but they charged us an additional 50$ labor to come give us the new part we were promised the first time...Fine, paid the bill, not going to argue with them anymore but certainly NEVER going to give them my business.I'm sure they're good at what they do and Christian is a great guy, just seems like the owner is shady and very much out to cut corners for profit, very non-client friendly.TBF though he always promptly gets back to you by phone (but have fun getting argued in a circle, stiff upper lip chaps.)
